Not that I'll be a part of that (despite being a HUGE fan of D2 and the original...not planning on getting D3)...that's a funny.

Yeah, same with me. Used to play D2 to death, but 12 years later now, I'm not sure I could enjoy it another time. I think I'll skip this.

I'm skipping it aswell, but with different reasons. Characters stored on servers? Asshats.

I just purchased the WoW season pass so Ill definately be playing D3. Dont care about the always online requirement or server side characters, its just like WoW to me.

I also will probably give D3 a pass.

 

Of course I said the same about Starcraft 2, and I still broke down and bought it a couple days after is came out.

I'm skipping it too. Too mindless for my tastes nowadays. I should have skipped SC2 too but I was itching to play a good RTS.

 

People droned on about the death of adventures for years, yet the RTS practically died overnight without anyone noticing.

Max Payne in some places is said to be releasing on May 15...exact same Date as diablo III. If true...I think they are taking some really big missteps with that game.

Rockstar does not need to hide from Blizzard.

 

Plus they're only releasing the console versions at that date.

So if we don't have Freespace 2, I guess it's a wash?

No requirement to have FS2 since the basis for the project is that the FS2 engine was open sourced quite a while ago.

 

 

 

...not that you shouldn't buy FS2 for its own sake anyway.

    I used to, then I moved a couple of times and have no idea what happened to it.

    Rumor: Prey 2 canceled

    Bethesda usually shoots down this rumor pretty quickly. They did with DOOM 4. They chose to go "no comment" on this. Also, NeoGAF's Nirolak noted that a lot of important people on the team left fairly recently. I'm afraid all the signs point to a cancelation :(

    But Prey 1 was also semi-cancelled for a long time - we'll see the sequel in a decade then. :p

    Well, Prey1 was also known for being Doom, without the flashlight, more bewbs and some lady parts tacked onto the walls.

     

    Oh and a good gravity yutzing mechanic.

    I wonder when Sega will kill the Alpha Protocol servers? Don't dare uninstall the game. Not that I want to though, I still play it from time to time.

    I wonder when Sega will kill the Alpha Protocol servers? Don't dare uninstall the game. Not that I want to though, I still play it from time to time.

    They've already killed the servers and the last patch gets rid of the DRM.
