Raithe Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Pushed through the day, but I've got this nagging sensation that there's something I'm supposed to be doing, and I'm totally blanking on it but just have that mental nagging. Hm, and the obs board keeps needing me to relog in everytime even with the "remember me" ticked. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Kor Qel Droma Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Hm, and the obs board keeps needing me to relog in everytime even with the "remember me" ticked. That's been happening to me for just about a week now. I thought possibly because I keep signing in on my mobile. I golfed today. It was windy. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Nightshape Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words. I came up with Crate 3.0 technology. Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.Down and out on the Solomani RimNow the Spinward Marches don't look so GRIM!
Rostere Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 So, today I mixed 4 litres of punsch - a traditional Swedish liqueur. Later today I'm going to take a stroll to my local cigar specialist and buy something fitting to smoke while drinking punsch made from the finest ingredients. Blarghagh Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I need to start getting up earlier. Whenever I sleep in, I can't bring myself to do anything. Stupid night jobs.
Gfted1 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 That may be the first time Ive ever seen Nep change avatars. Is the internet about to implode? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Malcador Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Dropped my dog off at the vet, starting a lovely day of rewarding work. Also this heat needs to go away, heard some imbecile on the radio saying "What you want 15 C and rainy like May ? This weather rocks". Dumbasses, 40 C weather with smog and no wind, yeah way better. Shryke Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 haven't been able to sleep since sunday not sure if it's the lack of sleep or the large amounts of coffee, but i've been feeling very twitchy when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
vault_overseer Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 went to work. Trying to be productive now. Hard. Sleep.

The new avatar is a screen cap from the Deus Ex Invisible War homepage, the flash load screen to be exact. I used it for at least as long in the good old days in the bad old forums as I used the Hot Alpha Protocol Fuzz one here. The circle is now complete. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Is a good thing too, I was getting tired of people confusing me with you. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
Malcador Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Hee hee. Lawyer got stuck in the revolving door again today. I know this cause he works in the firm on our floor. Didn't take to kindly to my guffawing at him, said some very mean things to me. Sadly, he got out before they needed to summon the firemen to extricate his suited self. Fourth person, when will they fix this damn door, I wonder. Why has elegance found so little following? Malcador Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Eh, not my fault they're dumbasses that rush in a door and magically get their foot trapped. I'll have to watch for him though, good opportunities to be snarky within a 14 day window. Does remind me, should take a day off work tomorrow. 48 C with humidity forecast, not looking forward to commuting home in a streetcar with no AC in that weather, heh. Raithe Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Hm, I've just realised that if you don't count emails.. I haven't actually spoken to anyone outside of the family in about 3 weeks. And I know I've forgotten something. Which is bugging the crap out of me. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
WDeranged Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Today I went on an old steam train through Snowdonia, also got fashionably pink-ified by the summer sun, now I look like someone who only spends half his life indoors I also bought a Kindle while I was in Tesco, I feel like somewhat of a sellout but it beats the **** out of my old Sony Reader, the Sony was like reading a ghostly imitation of a book, Kindle is much closer to the real thing, it's also got some impressive little stereo speakers on it for music. Torontonians have not yet discovered what soap or at least what deodorant is. I can confirm that this is not a trend that is limited to just Toronto sadly. I've taken to biking everywhere this summer instead. Just need to make sure that I bring enough water with me. I've somehow avoided getting burnt this year even without sunscreen which is an amazing achievement as far as I'm concerned.
Calax Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Well... I woke up, went to class, came home for an hour, went to work and just got off. Right now I smell like whipped cream because I dropped a canister of the stuff at work and it hit just right to create a tiny hole that made that sucker dance around and blast EVERYTHING (mainly me) in the area. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Humodour Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 The agent used to whip cream is nitrous oxide. Coincidentally, nitrous oxide is also known as laughing gas. It's fun.

Barring email and gtalk, I would've been in the same boat as you otherwise. :D You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
Shryke Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 i haven't shaved for about a month, so the beard is back in full force it's nice and warm ^_^ when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
