Yup.. cutting (literally) Sean Bean was a disappointment. Maybe they couldn't afford him anymore.

As much as people hated the Stark's being stupid and putting honor in front of everything and all that, I felt that was kinda the point the books as well (though it's more nuanced because... books). I always felt Martin was poking at the "honorable hero wins the day", I think that was rather nice. Noone is really safe in the story, you don't know who'll be getting chopped or not.

This episode really brought forward what a prat Joffrey really is. He's just Sansa in a different direction. He's all "I must do kingly and powerful things" and "I'm retarded!"

Joffrey - He's the only character that I'm genuinely without any shadow of a doubt wishing a horrible death upon.

 

Sansa maybe, will toughen up a bit, else she's fodder, what a weaking "lady", GAH!

I thought his performance as the vegetable was uncanny.

 

A little cheap with the off-screen burning, but the dragons were awesome.

I hope they change direction with the Hound next season. He's just about coming off as nice, which is totally wrong.
