MrBrown Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Granted, I wasn't expecting anything earth shattering, but I honestly can't remember any differences between playing a "default" game and importing my decisions from one of my Origins games. Other than the Nathanial Howe quest , is anything really affected in a noticeable way if you import? It's mostly side-quests, and the cameo's from a few NPCs from DA:O. That said, you're obviously required to use different backgrounds to see any difference. The "default" option, the first on the list in character creation, mostly contains the good/peaceful solutions to quests.

Maria Caliban Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 BioWare has finished the first real patch and sent it to EA, Microsoft, and Sony for certification. It has over 100 quest and gameplay fixes including the auto-attack for consoles. Currently unknown as to when it will be available. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.

Hopefully the Merril bug will be one of the quest bugs fixed. Now if only they could add new dungeon maps. Imagine backlash if they released new dungeons as DLC. I'm so desperate I'd still pay for them.
Tale Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 100 quest and gameplay fixes? That's unexpected. After my most recent ME2 replay where the Garrus loyalty mission bug still exists, I was thinking they probably wouldn't do much. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

Nepenthe Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 100 quest and gameplay fixes? That's unexpected. After my most recent ME2 replay where the Garrus loyalty mission bug still exists, I was thinking they probably wouldn't do much. Starting to look like a delayed Day-1 patch, with the apparently more unexpected things (like the broken bonus system that is stretching into a lot of different abilities, like Isabela's Thumbs Up) rolled into it. Of course, having trouble fathoming why they wouldn't have slapped the already done stuff in with the 1.01 they released, anyway. DLC plug-in points? You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
