I live in a valley. The green stuff doesn't survive the summer. :D

I'm sorry, but I would never want to live there. It seems so bland and hot. I'll take my New Jersey suburbs any day.

I bet it's nicer in the winter though. :D

Ah, but you have to remember that there's a variety of terrain all within a 40-50 mile radius. The beach, redwood forest, rocky low 'mountains', pine trees, grass valley, marshlands, lakes & rivers, green city parks, farmland, and of course 'big city.' :)

But yeah, right where I live, it's bland and hot. The suburb looks like a regular ol suburb, with city planted trees/grass and all that, but the land around us on the hills is all dry and grassy and fire hazzardy. In winter/spring it's very pretty. I'll take a picture next Jan. ;)

The central valley tho...I wouldn't want to live there. Too far from the 'variety'.

I went outside today. During the daylight. I still like the dark better.

Yes ,the light does tend to burn.

Very pretty must be cold in winter though. Green in summer? Is that possible?

What is Social Distortion?

It is a rock and roll band from California.

Ah ,every day I learn something new ,well being Australian it isn't surprising that I've never heard of them. That and I am not really into modern music.

I thought they might have been some kind of Socialist affiliated group. I should have checked for myself but I am lazy.

Looks like the ship is at a 30 degree tilt to me. I took geometry.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

The reported probably told you that, right?

Jags: unblock and just look at Kermit. You'll feel happier.

Oh, and I was posing for the picture. I wasn't actually playing like that."

Just posting to prove that while it's dry by my house, within a 30-40 minute drive in almost any direction you get easy variety.

Sometimes I wish hubby was better with a camera. It's hard to do some kinds of pic/video shots by yourself.
