Beware of rabid fangirlism.

Indeed. The most rabid and powerful is the one they call....Darth Launch. *shudders* I pity the soul who dare defy Carth in her presence....

In all seriousness, those are some fine pictures Harry. Being a Bastila fanboy myself, I greatly appreciated the Bastila lovin'.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I hope to put up some more pics in the near future. And thanks for pointing me the way over here, Julian.

Darkside - No, not a pro, although that would certainly be nice. Well, to be more accurate, I don't draw for a living, but in the past I I have done a couple of character portraits for characters in a MMORPG for money. The portraits seen in the Ultima Online Gallery on my website have a few such drawings, although most of those in there were done for fun for people I met online.

Mothman - is rabid fangirlism really such a bad thing? Actually, I am working on a Carth portrait since I have noticed he has a somewhat "small" following. . . . . :-

In the end, though, you're more likely to see pictures of Bastila being done -- that voice of Jennifer Hale's is simply intoxicating. Its her voice that conjures up the images in my brain that I then put down on paper. Still, I hope to put pics up here that are more complete pictures rather than the solitary figure or two.

Anyway, time for sleep. Again, thanks for the warm welcome!

Hey there everyone! I thought I would contribute to this thread seeing as how SW:KOTOR games are, well, great. Yes, KOTOR II had some loose ends, but hopefully the Restoration Project will help to fix some of that.

Nice! You've got some major talent there (w00t)

Gotta love that Bastilla :)

EDIT:

Here is the final Lord Satasn pose:

In the final version, his pants will be baggy and his cloak will be swirling to the right...

Welcome to the forum Harry, your art is fantastic... you'll totally fit in here :- As chief Carth fangirl in these parts I'll just say " (w00t) " to the up and coming Carth portrait you're working on

HarrySome: For someone who isn't pro, you sure got talent. Are you self-taught? If so, how do you train yourself? Personally, I collect art books and try to pick up the techniques the artists are applying. But, then, I'm not the most talented artist out there.

Okay guys, I promised I would make a sketch set during the battle between the Jedi and the Sith assasin, and so I did.

Description: They are in the middle of the fight, and the Jedi is jumping from a high ground to face the Sith, while she throws a Force Lightning and him (which he stops with his lightsaber).

It's good there nitro, i like :), but i would suggest maybe defining the levels at which they are jumping from, and/or standing, and possibly review the body positionings :).

P.S. Please dont take offence from this, im just trying to give some constructive criticism :).

Those are amazing and are completely worthy of finishing touches.

Well, good job, HarrySome! I've always found it difficult to learn the markmaking techniques and I take drawing courses at a University. Mind you, I draw in a less realistic style than you do (you seem to excel in a portraiture style), but I wish I could pull off the markmaking you seem to be able to do with ease. They never taught me this stuff, come to think of it. I attended a high school "of the Performing and Visual Arts" and they never really taught me any techniques. They just let me do whatever and marked me as such. So, by the time I got into University, I was (still am, actually) quite behind in the markmaking department.

But I digress. Good work!
