Build a band of heroes, descend into the haunted elven ruins of Myth Drannor, and use tactical positioninAs Humanoid said, it is a re-release with all bad stuff fixed. As far as I remember, the game got more hate than it deserved when it was released, mostly due to technical issues. It was the first D&D 3E game on the market, and it was turn based, I actually liked the way, how the combat and the movement around the battlefield was implemented, but I have never gone through more than few areas. If all the bug of the original build could be fixed, it might not be a bad game to pass time.More details on GOG store-page:GOG.comPool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth DrannorAn unspeakable, ANCIENT EVIL has REAWAKENED, rendering EVERYTHING it touches UNDEAD Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Thursday at 02:51 PM3 days The GOG page says "Timed-action combat system." That itself will very likely make this a 'no' for me.

I will recommend you to check some let’s plays, after it gets released. I really do not remember the specific combat, as it is more than 20 years, when I played it. All I remember from that game is, that I pretty much liked it at that time, and I would swear, that it was turn based combat reactive to attacks opportunity. But as I said, after more than 20 years, my memory might be a little bit off. Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Thursday at 08:39 PM3 days Wiki says it was turn based, and that's what I remember as well. Marketing thing I think, where they wanted to imply its combat was more like Baldur's Gate's 'real time'/ simultaneous turn based system, since it was the big seller.
