What a interesting interview with Swen

I have been watching some of the non-spoiler   reviews and  gameplay videos  and I never seen such positive opinions  in my life  abou any RPG.  BG3 is going to be epic 🥂

And then Ultima 7 was the first modern RPG in my eyes. It had a **** combat system [but] so much freedom and so much interactivity - so much, in fact, I had no clue what I was doing. I just knew this was cool.

To be fair, they do work hard to recreate Sven’s time with Ultima7 [harr, harr]

Diablo 4 got it's first big patch ahead of season 1, and people are generally up in arms about it. It looks like it'll make everything more tedious and slow, while not addressing any of the most common complaints from players. Asmongold sums it up pretty well. (The patch is mostly about late game, so if you're looking to just play the campaign, not much has changed).

When aren't they.  Not sure why anyone cares what Asmongold would have to say on Diablo, versus Krip.  Interesting that BG3 is mentioned, didn't really think there'd be much overlap of those audiences, well I guess BG3 is in the news.    Nerfing the experience gains are puzzling, the whispers have been increased though - haven't gotten a chance to try those out to see, I enjoy doing those more than dungeons at least with my schedule.

Seems they didn't learn from the WoW team in terms of not over-managing players so to speak.

"We have generally reduced the tendency for many monsters to move around in combat, so that melee characters don't have to chase down their enemies as much."

Hah, that has been my whine with my rogue.

People talk about BG3 at least on diablo reddits, so apparently it's hype enough to be a contender, despite being in a different genre.

I like that movement change too.

Well my storm claw druid is pretty much crap now so I share the hate sentiment

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

1) can I move my battlenet progress over to steam?

Probably, since you still need a b.net account.

What I'm interested to know is, if they put paid stuff in there, will I have pay for it again like when EA's games came to steam.

Not sure if I want to pay another 70e for D4...

2) can you make me want to play Overwatch2 again?

No, since they started recording voice chat the toxicity and raging is gone from my games.  Was the only thing worth playing for, to feed off The Hate.

Blizzard is just itching for lawsuits, aren't they.

Once again, Asmongold, sorry. :p

TL;DR: purchase button that's easy to click by accident, but doesn't have any extra confirmation pop-up.
