Guard Dog Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I had few positive things to say about the Obama. Admin. But one thing he got right takes a big step today at 20:33 GMT. He cleared all the hurdles and opened up government facilities for private spaceflight. And today the first manned private space launch will take place. https://phys.org/news/2020-05-spacex-moment-triumph-astronauts-ready.html 2 "While it is true you learn with age, the down side is what you often learn is what a damn fool you were before" Thomas Sowell

Zoraptor Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Ginsburg has had some pretty significant health issues over the past year though, hasn't she? General poor health isn't great for longevity especially with covid19 around. (I have to admit, a situation where Trump is trying to appoint someone to the Supreme Court with a few months left on his term and the Democrats are trying to Garfield his nominee would be hilarious for the role reversals)
Orogun01 Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Socialism and having corpses decide legislation, funny how the left seems to be going full Inca. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.

Wow. There have been many cases over the years where somebody had something censored and where I was trying to figure out what 4-letter swear was supposed to go in its place, but none of the normal ones would make sense, so I could only conclude that they self-censored and put the wrong amount of asterisks in. That makes a lot more sense. Also, somebody should fix that. Edited May 28, 2020 by Bartimaeus Quote How I have existed fills me with horror. (no, got no idea if they have anything like that in their ToS, the thought was amusing though) Edit: from @Raithe's link: As he headed into Memorial Day weekend, Donald Trump complained that he was COVID-19’s biggest victim. “He was just in a ****ing rage,” said a person who spoke with Trump late last week. “He was saying, ‘This is so unfair to me! Everything was going great. We were cruising to reelection!” Even as the death toll neared 100,000 and unemployment ranks swelled to over 38 million, Trump couldn’t see the pandemic as anything other than something that had happened to him. “The problem is he has no empathy,” the adviser said.
