So i'm having this issue as shown in the image. Allow me to get to the point. I have tried every single troubleshooting issue i have done back when i was having a similar issue with Gears 5 in September. I even ran System File Check via elevated Command Prompt (sfc /scannow), and after fixing some "integrity violations" as it puts it, it didn't solve this issue either. I am currently reinstalling the game, but i highly doubt that it will work regardless, because it seems like when a game/app doesn't work on the Xbox App/Windows Store, it REALLY doesn't work no matter what i try on my end. And i am not the only one having these issues. A handful of people on Reddit are having this issue as well, though some of them managed to fix it with one of the solutions i have tried already to no avail. Unlike Gears 5 however, this time there seems to be no solution to this issue as far as i can tell. Not on my end anyway. I've been at this for 2 days, closing in on 3. I can't even contact live support on the Microsoft website because it's been having issues for the past few days. Here are my specs: Case: Cooler Master Elite 430Monitor: Samsung S22C150 21.5' Inch 1080p, 60HzGPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4gb (No OC)CPU: AMD FX-8350 8-Core Black Edition (No OC)Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 PlusHard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD 7200RPMRAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gbDisk Drive: Samsung SH-224DB / BEBE DVD/CD WriterCooling Fan: Cooler Master JetFlo 95.0 CFM 120mm Red PSU: XFX TS 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power SupplyMotherboard: MSI 970A-G46Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Here is a simplified list of fixes i have tried on my end: - Re-registering the Windows Store via Windows PowerShell (as admin) - Re-setting the Windows Store app - Ran the troubleshooter for Windows Store apps - Signed in to my Microsoft account through Windows 10 (didn't work, so went back to just using a regular local admin account) - Fully updated Windows - Ran "Chkdsk" - Resetting and repairing the game app, and the Xbox app - Ran sfc /scannow and DISM via Windows Command Prompt (as admin) - Signed out and back into my Microsoft account through both the Microsoft Store and the Xbox App - Checked for updates via Microsoft Store (My Library > Downloads & Updates) - Ran CHKDSK - Checked to make sure i have the "Xbox Identity Provider" and "Gaming Services" apps - Turning off Firewall Windows is fully updated, and i have the latest Nvidia graphics driver installed (440.97). What's going on? I'm at my wits end dealing with this again a second time...

I just recently began playing PoE II again, after switching to a hard drive that runs Windows 10 (I have another that runs Win 7 Ultimate, but haven't played PoE II on it since around the start of this year), with around 20 or so mods. I noticed rather quickly that my game was crashing to desktop, taking anywhere from 10 minutes to roughly an hour, though usually between 10-30 minutes of playtime. Most of the crashes seemed to be happening during a story scene, dialogue, leveling up, changing locations...pretty much any time I wasn't controlling my characters on the map or in combat. After checking on Steam to see if there were any missing/corrupted files, uninstalling/reinstalling, and trying to figure out what mod was causing the issue, and having to fight with the in-game mod manager (which would re-check any mods I disabled unless I returned to the main menu, then went back to it, and even then would re-enable them when the game crashed), I removed all of them and tried starting an entirely new game without them, to see if one of the mods somehow were the cause. That did make the crashes less frequent, or at least I -think- it did, though due to the large range of playtime before PoE II would crash, I'm not too sure that mods were the issue to begin with. This also never happened when I was playing it before the 5.0 update, on Windows 7 either. A few crashes on a completely new, unmodded game, the most recent of which was earlier today and after only 20-30 minutes of playing, I figured I should post here to try and get a solution. Linked below is the most recent save file and crash log of that. Attached to this is my system specs too. https://mega.nz/#!UJckmQbR https://mega.nz/#F!EdFymaCA DxDiag.txt

Description: Prior to today game would occasionally CTD when transitioning between areas. Previously, I would be able to anticipate when this was going to happen as there would be micro-freezes during conversation and combat. Exiting and reloading the last save seemed to handle this issue. After the random encounter in the Narrows where you fight with some undead and get the griffin blade and attempt to leave the area I get a CTD if attempting to leave the city. Traveling to another location in the city loads but attempts to leave the city are now met with more CTD and I am currently unable to progress in the game. Save games from before and after crashing have been emailed. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: I repeated the steps above (leave city from Narrows and leave city from other locations) a half dozen times to ensure that the error was reproducible. crash.dmp error.log output_log.txt Skoljorn DxDiag 9-3-2019.txt

Good afternoon, Am experiencing a curious oddity of a crash. I've played through PoE before on my Toshiba laptop and had no real issues. However, I recently upgraded to a new (non-laptop) computer, and decided "you know, I think I want to replay PoE and import my character into PoE 2, now that it's out". I've a relatively new system, which includes a GeForce GTX 1060, a Realtek soundtrack, an obnoxious amount of RAM, and no idea why the game locks up. Naturally, I've updated my Nvidia and Real Tek drivers, and despite that the crashes still occur. Upon attempting to load the game, it gets as far as the initial encampment scene, and after wandering for a few minutes around the encampment, the game suddenly locks up. It doesn't BSOD me, it just...locks up. The audio continues to work - Justin Bell's double-fine tunes continue playing in the background despite everything freezing up like some kind of freaky flash mob. As per Obsidian protocol, I've attached my DXDiag text and the Output log. I've attempted to attach my most recent savegame, but am not being permitted to attach it to this message for reasons unclear to me. It would be lovely if someone could attend to this post and perhaps offer an email to which I could send the savegame, should they need it, as well as some advice around how to go about eliminating this issue. Thank you kindly in advance for your time and effort! Best, Ilya DxDiag.txt output_log.txt

So.. The free "Upgrade to Windows 10 now!" The "Offer expires on 29 July in 4 hours, 51 minutes and 8 seconds." I tried it out a year ago and wasn't pleased. Especially the lack of control with Windows Updates is a big turnoff point and some graphical changes too like windows and folders and everything is so bloody flat and have shadows at the same time. Has anything really changed? Is Window Updates still a pain? I wish I could search for these things myself, but I find Both Google, BIng and pretty much every search service to be bloody useless in regards to filters or maybe I forgot and they removed them as features. I guess I could always upgrade it online, but I've already done that once and the offer still stands as if I never took it.. Last time I decided to quit Windows 10 and go back to Windows 8 it turned out that it wasn't 31 days at all, but only 28.. In which case I had to reinstall Windows 8 Pro, upgrade to Windows 8.1.. Fix all my installations.. Dealing with all those perfectly working Express version, that had been disabled (and thus unable to re-register to unlock) in favor of something worse and blah-blah-blah-massive-pain-in-the-arse-dows.. Not too happy about trying that again. Forgot to mention. So, I've already taken the offer once, which didn't change anything in this regard, I mean, apparently it's not like a Microsoft Windows 10 OS Cloud Server where I can always install it from again, because I already reserved my copy and the offer still stands completely oblivious to this, and since it doesn't actually make a complete Windows 10 installation that I can always pick later and that it doesn't give me a Product Key I am really confused about my options. Hm.. I did actually download it separately, but I wonder if I can actually install it later, past this date and everything will be jolly miss molly or .. [insert the opposite].

Hello everyone, Recently, when I want to play Pillars of Eternity, the game crashes when I try to travel to another destination outside Elms Reach. I think the problem exists ever since I've updated my OS to Windows 10 - because I almost played the whole game trough without a problem on Windows 7. I've uploaded all my files here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pl4nb3mgzuyoe9l/AAA07uNi9fNggEidznTT-Y5la?dl=0 Thanks so much, it would mean a lot of me to get back to playing Pillars, I really love the game and just recently bought both add ons. Cheers, Bolle

Hi, Since upgrading to Windows 10, PoE has done nothing but crash. I’ve traced a problem back to the original OS install with an NVidia driver (the hideous day one driver issue that was well reported) issue and I thought I’d rectified that with a complete OS fresh install and the latest ISO of Windows 10, but the problem resurfaced again. My system is pretty respectable (System Config attached) and I think I’ve done everything reasonable to work out what is going on here. I played and completed the game in Windows 8.1 with no crashes or problems of any kind. I’ve looked in Steam folder and found some crash reports and I’ve attached one of those files too (Error Log output below). I really want to play this game again so if there is anything you can do to resolve or to point me in direction of what is causing crash I’d really appreciate it! When playing the game will load then after a few seconds the screen will freeze. Sound continues and I seem to be able to click on menu options although nothing moves on the screen. Then after a short time the game crashes to desktop. Thanks in advance Mark output_log.txt MySysConfig.txt

Hey folks, So I've done some searching on the forum and I see others complaining of this as well. Unfortunately, none of the solutions have worked for me. This has been happening ever since I upgraded to Windows 10. Description: The game crashes at indeterminate intervals. I can play anywhere between 2 minutes to 45 minutes before it happens. It's completely unexpected, there's no specific action that seems to cause this behavior, but it has been happening since I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10. Here's a link to a zip with a save game before it happened last, the output_log.txt, as well as dxdiag results. https://www.dropbox.com/s/eglsgtovqoxcv84/poe_report.zip?dl=0 Help is much appreciated, I love this game and I really want to keep playing it.
