  1. Haven't seen it either. Extra bothersome since conversation options seemingly aren't tagged with disposition changes, nor can I find a toggle for it.
  2. Just google Pacific Daylight Time, or even PDT. It's 7:30 there now.
  3. Still, in my Watcher's original culture it is taken for granted that all cats are nice. To openly remark on it is considered rude, as it implies things could be otherwise. Aufra and I shared a rare moment of deep understanding as I noted, approvingly but silently, that she had a cat, which we both knew was nice. With the Hollowborn Crisis over, she will elect follow me to Deadfire to see to it that her next baby will have a cultured and worldly father such as yours truly. My ship's menagerie will thus gain a pet. And also a cat.
  4. Same here. But I'm assuming it's either not a problem (perhaps just happens because we're at preload) or it will get fixed shortly. If it's still saying that in a week, I'll start troubleshooting.
  5. Josh only said "minor reactivity", which I very much doubt means power bonuses (buffs/items) or content. Probably just things they felt could carry over somehow but were too inane to put on the questionnaire. What did you do with the souls after defeating Thaos? What fate did you choose for the eyeless? Did you tell Aufra she had a nice cat?
  6. I'm not sure it's news, but considering the release date says May 8, it might be: The guidebook vol. 2 is also available. Woop! This one we can actually do something with ATM ^^
  7. Here's a rather meaningless countdown timer to release, that should be timezone adjusted and stuff. Give it a stare.
  8. Yeah uh, 1 point of might seems to have the same value in PoE1 and Deadfire even. 3% damage, 2 fortitude. Not following.
  9. @OP: Apparently you can use EternityKeeper to edit variables and indeed fabricate your own save state. Someone on Discord is having success doing exactly that. Well, the success is measured in the ending slides changing according to the edited variables. Hopefully that means Deadfire will be happy with them too.
  10. Are you sure? Steam seems to indicate otherwise. That's the only indication I have from Steam about specific time and it seems to be in agreement.
  11. Clumsy, not hopelessly motorically impaired. ^^ Edit: Actually, 5 of some other stats sounds more extreme than clumsy does for dex. 5 int = dim. 5 per = oblivious.
  12. Right thread, love! I'm just trying to bait you into returning to the forum and it seems you didn't even leave to begin with.
  13. @Enoch that does sound promising. I find that between attributes and skills, there are many blurry distinctions though, and it's not made less weird by Party Assist letting you benefit from your minions' skills but not their attributes. What might really spice things up would be punishing ridiculously low stats too. Like if you dump resolve, you'll back down from nearly any discussion, etc. While PoE1 had rewarding and reasonable conversation options for high attributes, it felt a bit like the standard options all assumed you had at least ten in every attribute.
  14. In ten hours from now I'll post how to bypass Steam and decrypt the preloaded game yourself and start playing.
  15. I'm... so not going to try. You could find maddening amounts of codes in there by lining up note or chord sequences.
  16. In PoE1 the primary stats used for conversation were per, int and res. Saw more of each of those than of mig, con and dex combined. I'd actually hoped they won't be needed anymore, in favor of skills and Party Assist, but apparently stat checks were used on stream. Now, int is an easy attribute for me to like, and I'm no enemy of res either, especially as I typically make my Watchers tanks. Per however I would only pump for stat checks or on absolute glass cannons. Still, if you make your Watcher a tank they can make do with low mig and dex. Others can deal the damage. Surely some will argue you can dump con too/instead.
  17. They are probably really meaningless consequences based on things like "Did you tell Aufra she had a nice cat?" which might lead to you comparing a Deadfire cat to that cat that they didn't wanna bother coding into the questionnaire. (Did you, though? It is a nice cat.) If they left out actual content or power gains based on save state vs. questionnaire, all they'd get is a minor ****storm about how meaningless the questionnaire is and we'd figure out how to fabricate save states and no one would be happier for the pointless exercise. I don't know of one. But consider just how many ways a save state can be varied, if we say thirty choices, each with an average of four options, you're looking at... I don't know what you call this number, but type 4^30 into Google or your calculator. So such a library would be very incomplete. Better someone figures out how to fabricate save states if you crave to arbitrate cat niceness contests ^^
  18. Apart from you hoping for some antiquated game design philosophy, Big J tweeted that the only difference between imports and questionnaire starting points is minor reactivity.
  19. Yeah, but in that case you'll also get them through questionnaire choices anyway. You're not getting advantages from PoE1 imports.
