  1. A few more notes about the pool. For one, I do not think the buffs are one-time. In my efforts to get all three buffs it sometimes gave me one I already had. Therefore you could take these long before you start your no-rest streak, although by the time you can get here you should already be doing it More importantly, as you save scum your way to all three buffs, DO NOT SAVE while you are shapeshifted by the pool. You might do something like: get shapeshifted, immediately click the pool again, get a buff you were missing, quicksave, then your luck runs short and you decide to reload that quicksave. The shapeshifts are very brief but if you load a save where you've been shifted, the effect never ends. Between resting, luxury hookers, getting knocked out, getting the shapeshift again, getting other shapeshifts again and retraining, nothing was able to clear it. So don't save while you have a temporary shapeshift, or it will no longer be temporary when you load that save. You also don't LOOK shapeshifted so you don't even get that, just your character in underwear with their equipment forever lost.
  2. With regards to the pool, there's also Alchemic Guile: +2 Dex +2 Per Alchemic Wit: +2 Int +2 Res In fact, you can have multiple at once... I accumulated some wounds in the process so I'm off to make another adra potion, but hey. It's awesome. Also, I may be stuck in a cat shapeshift. Hm.
  3. ARKEMYR PUT SHINIES IN ROOM. THEN NEVER GO ROOM. NO ADMIRE SHINIES. WE TAKE SHINIES.
  4. IMPS TAKE OVER DEADFIRE. RULES FOR IMPORTANT IMPS ARMY. 1. NO TELL ARKEMYR ABOUT IMPORTANT IMPS ARMY. 2. FIRST RULE. 5. NO LOWERCASE. 7. BAD GRAMMAR. POOR SYNTAX. FEW ADVERBS. NO PRONOUNS. UNLESS NEMNOK. 4. NO GROUNDMEATS. INTRODUCE TO OTHER IMPS. SHRIEKING DIMWIT SERVE ARKEMYR FOR THREE MONTHS. ARKEMYR TRY ZAP SHRIEKING DIMWIT FOR USING SCRYING POOL AS TOILET. AGAIN.
  5. The easiest way to check would be to play a Kind Wayfarer while Pallegina is also one. I don't know what the favored dispositions of her Vailian order are.
  6. That's part of Director Castol's shady dealings. It's hardly being done with the knowledge and consent of the rest of the VTC.
  7. Yeah. I haven't checked thoroughly on live but it always seemed like Watcher/mercs had the same value and grew at the same times. Never mixed orders before though. You... you said it would be like in PoE1. *sniffles* I TRUSTED YOU, BOEROER-SENPAI! NOW MY EYES ARE OPEN! THE GODS AREN'T REAL! I know. There's no confusion over the numbers. I didn't include benevolent for no reason - it has no effect on Shieldbearers - I just wanted to demonstrate some effects. ^^ P.S. 1 shady disposition for lying to Arkemyr's imp can go lick rotten koiki fruit.
  8. Anyone know if this is a bug or intended? Did I miss a patch note? It's quite clear to me that this is happening. I have five multilclassed paladins. The Watcher and one more are Shieldbearers. The others are Bleak Walkers. They all have Deep Faith, FWIW. Watcher: +14.1 Other Shieldbearer: +14.1 Bleak Walkers: +11 This is with 2 honest, 2 diplomatic, 0 cruel, 0 aggressive, 2 benevolent. I wanted the Bleak Walkers for their ability to sicken, but these paladin orders don't get along at all :/ Edit: This is in beta but every time I've checked on live my paladins have always had the same bonus when playing the same order.
  9. Alright. I'll try to stack con before drinking there. I only started with 12 though so I don't think I can get a crazy high amount :/ has anyone actually drunk the blood without spitting it out? Edit: 18 con to keep the blood down, but no buff. And I tried this with consoled 35 con so I doubt there's ever gonna be one. BTW, I think the Path of the Damned buff is something only enemies are supposed to have, so that you ever got it is probably a bug. Seems to me when I check the details of any attack roll on PotD, there's +15 accuracy for enemies attributed to this buff or +15 to the relevant defense if they're the target instead of the attacker.
  10. I don't get how you managed to combine Good Food, Better Friends with an actual food buff. I can get it from the Lowland Sands location on the southwesternmost island on the Deadfire map, but I have to rest to get that buff, so...
  11. So your allies are duplicitous and spiteful. Forget about them. Stiltondra can help. (I was gonna use Gorgonzondra and Parmeskaen.)
  12. Brieothasians are generally friendly, kind and see the best in people. But are Goudica worshipers friendly to ANYONE? Perhaps if reined in by those of Camemberath...
  13. Cheers again. It seems I'll need to make very few adjustments considering my party is already 2 heralds and 3 crusaders.
  14. Madman? Also, why do you make it sound like not everyone follows Brieothas? Are there disbelievers among us? I think your reasoning holds. Paladin magic makes it even more obvious, as they draw strength and magic from championing their ideals.
  15. I've had this event happen twice across all my playthroughs thus far, and both times it was a crew member with an impulsive personality, although not the same one.
  16. Cheers! Am I correct in thinking that Bleak Walkers don't need to beat a fortitude check to land theirs? Anyone know of items that can do it?
  17. Game definitely got easier with levels for me in 1.1 beta. From reloading to steamrolling.
  18. So the thing is, I'm really fond of mass tank parties with lots of healing available. Outlast anything. Except when I run into enemies that also have access to unlimited healing. While nothing in Deadfire has been able to beat me at outlasting, or reach a stalemate against me, I like to plan for the possibility that something in a DLC might. Therefore I am looking for ways to cause Sickened, Weakened or better yet, Enfeebled. Anything you know, mention it. I only got a chant on my list right now.
  19. Get yourself killed in the opening fight instead of fighting back and you risk losing no one. The game cuts immediately to the Chitupec vs. crate scripted interaction if the Watcher gets killed.
  20. No! I don't want the only four star navigator available to suffer delusions of grandeur and leave my ship. But if he bulks up from eating gulls, that's fine.
  21. There's a hull you can purchase (Dunnage) called something with Red Dream.
  22. According to Boeroer-senpai, you can. I believe he said on Discord not long ago that this is the sole exception to the rule that no weapon setup will benefit from multiple styles.
  23. Horrible person = Dark Times Armed clown = Everything Bad
