  1. Most of the low PEN weapons also have dual damage types, which helps to mitigate the issue in most circumstances. But then there are also high PEN weapons with dual types, so yeah.
  2. Someone posted elsewhere that it apparently will progress if you either aren't wearing the armour, or the armour has already completed that stage.
  3. Thanks! My other build (The Furry Ravager) has been updated for 2.0 too btw. Not a big deal though.
  4. The above issue is moot if you don't ever intend to summon your pet. But otherwise yes, it is a bad combo (though not as bad as Beckoner/Ghost Heart). Well, they are both about as bad as each other.
  5. Dirty Fighting, I guess? Fighter and Barb both have access to higher hit to crit bonuses than Dirty Fighting. Also self accuracy buffs which the Rogue lack. In other words; they don't.
  6. Semi-related question; If a character is removed from the mind web, does their contribution to it also get removed?
  7. I actually abandoned my Evoker run shortly after I got PL9 spells. I almost didn't make it past PL8.
  8. Making all four paladins would be a start. Assigning max might/con for the fort guy, max dex/per for reflex, int/res for will. Pick up the relevant +10 passives. Deflection guy would also want max res. A cipher/paladin would theoretically be able to get the highest will in the game (+15 deep faith +10 bulls will +15 PL1 cipher passive whose name I forget). Casita BP and Cadhu Scalth on the deflection guy - probably want to be a Holyslayer.
  9. Also be sure to kill the Magma Dragon - 2 free legendary one-handers/armour or one free two-hander. Also the sea dragon for four/two (only for superb though, but seeing as many armours take an adra ban for superb, very useful).
  10. Here's a build based on that strategy. I also probably wouldn't make it through a whole playthrough with it, but it IS fun spawning your imp army. Also, they are both currently bugged and will summon from anything (including inanimate objects) if killed by DoT damage or carnage damage. I don't think this should affect your ranking, but it is fun to get double the imps.
  11. 100% agree, and I have already reported it in the Tech Support forum. I did however label it as a [Potential Bug] as it could be intentional, though I also believe it is an oversight.
  12. Yes, that party looks like it would destroy PotD with little effort. I think if you take a full party of hired adventurers you will find yourself in the same position as before - game will be too easy.
  13. Agree that this is the most broken part of the Red Hand. In my experience though it works on all vessels, provided they are a lower level than the attacking char. I've killed all risen kinds, fampyrs, all rothgast etc. on PotD with lvl scaling, with my char lvl 18+.That's odd, as I've had it destroy vessels with a skull over their head (higher level) but then not kill others with no skulls. This was all in 1.1/1.2 though so they may have changed/fixed it.
  14. I mean, have you actually used it? Get the found guilty enchant and put it on someone with good aoe. It's one of the strongest additions from the DLC and among the best two handers right now.
  15. If there was still an enemy left, then you didn't kill them all. Not bugged, just a bit annoying that a random patrolling guy can easily be missed.
  16. "S-Tier" indeed. I have just reported it as a possible bug anyway. Probably going to be very low priority for the devs, but at the very least we should get an answer as to intended or not.
  17. Oathbreaker's End is a battle axe, but it is also a two-handed weapon (unlike standard battle axes). It currently shares the base penetration rating of one-handed battle axes. Depending on perspective, this could be intended or an oversight.
  18. What I'd suggest, now that you've narrowed it down, is you take a save game where you're already a fair way through the game, make some hired adventurers and test the combos yourself. You can use console to get the gear if you don't already have it. I'm not trying to dissuade you from asking questions here, just at the end of the day suggestions from others only go so far; only you will know what you find enjoyable. And just because one person has a lot of success with a certain class/build/combo, doesn't necessarily mean you will.
  19. I use custom save states, so can't comment on experience. If you upload some of your PoE1 saves they may be able to investigate it better. Possibly also a save from just before interacting with the adra pillar in Hasongo?
  20. While I would hardly call it completely useless... This is a good find. This needs to be posted in the Technical Support forum however.
  21. You keep saying this, yet despite many suggestions and feedback there have been no changes made?
  22. Downside with dazed (all might allfictions really) is immune to engagement stops you from engaging them too.
  23. There's also a drink (Wael's something) that gives int affliction immunity at the cost of I think -1 DEX. Easier and cheaper to get than captains banquet, however if you are solo and/or don't need to rest then yeah banquet is better.
  24. During level up screen on a Lifegiver (or any subclass that limits ability choices) there will be a little note that reads {ability disabled due to subclass} or something to that effect.
