  1. That’s not how it works, it’s on graze, hit or crit. At least that’s how it’s set in the game’s files, so if it doesn’t work that way, it’s almost certainly a bug. Yes, the description is confusing and misleading, since sometimes when Obsidian says hit, they mean graze, hit or crit, and sometimes they mean only hit or crit, but not graze. But as far as I know, they never mean only on hit and not crit. Clear out is a good move for scordeo’s edge, since by hitting a bunch more times, you’re increasing your chance to proc blade cascade. I actually tested it with 2 fighters: 1 with high perception and high hit to crit conversion, the other with low perception and confident aim. The second one was always the fist to trigger blade cadscade. The first fighter was even unable to proc it vs the dummies, since he could get only critical strikes. So, unless you tested it and found something different, i can tell that you actually can activate blade cascade only by proper *hits*, NOT from *crits* or *grazes*. Wich sucks btw, i would have liked it much more if it would activate by crits. If you skip to around 2:45, you will see me get a Blade Cascade proc with 100% crit chance (Kraken has ~60 deflection, I finish the fight with over 200 accuracy - also shown after it dies). 5% is just a very low proc chance, meaning you will have some fights where it doesn't proc at all, no matter the accuracy/attack speed/abilities used.
  2. Yeah I'm very underwhelmed with Conc Ground in this game, so much so I've stopped taking it. Pitiful heal amount and it doesn't move with your character like it did in PoE1.
  3. I'm not sure you understand what a bug is. The game has always been easy. You have always been able to reach max level well before the end of the game. The new BoW items are quite powerful and unique (well, some of them), though not more so than other items that have always been available in game. A bug is when something happens that isn't supposed to as a result of a coding error. This is deliberate game design. It is done so that people are able to do minimalist runs without getting stomped on by the unavoidable fights etc. Would I like something done about it? Absolutely. But it is not a bug.
  4. I've used the helmet and still got terrified. I'm not saying it's not a good idea to use it in the fight, but the question was regarding it preventing the terrified affliction; which it doesn't.
  5. Pretty sure the terrify isn't blocked by the push/pull immunity.
  6. As I said just above; it's probably because he was doing the fight solo with a melee character - it only uses it if there's something that's not in range.
  7. IIRC there were only two weapons that could reach Mythic in the original game, and most if not all of the other soul bounds maxed out at superb. Not getting legendary isn't that big a deal really, especially on a elemental dual damage type weapon. Don't really think it needs to be changed tbh, if you're set on using it and really want a legendary weapon then maybe just change the final upgrade to also upgrade to legendary.
  8. That’s not how it works, it’s on graze, hit or crit. At least that’s how it’s set in the game’s files, so if it doesn’t work that way, it’s almost certainly a bug. Swift Flurry and Heartbeat Drumming are also great for Scordeo's Edge (obviously not applicable for OPs build though). Basically anything that can land more than 1 hit per action is going to be good with it.
  9. Salvation is a 0.5 second base cast time and I believe either 3 or 4.5 second recovery. So yeah definitely worth the time investment.
  10. I've not had that problem with Scordeo's - and my Ravage can easily reach >160 accuracy with Berzerker's 30% hit to crit too.
  11. It makes sense from a logical viewpoint that PER is used for discovering things. But I agree it isn't necessarily a great decision gameplay wise. I do enjoy not having to permanently travel in sneak mode in order to not miss any traps/secrets though - best change they made by far.
  12. It has an attack that pulls your people in and then terrifies them. Possibly doesn't use it if everyone is already in melee range.
  13. If you free the prisoner he can decipher the notes for you - may require a dialogue check though I can't remember.
  14. Abraham and Cutthroat Cosmo both stack with Armored Grace. Can get less recovery than naked with this combo. I think what he's saying is that the base Unbending should be more than powerful enough to keep you alive, so Trunk is not necessary. Only things that can kill you through Unbending are Arcane Dampener (and other such spells) or very high single hit damage (couple Ninagauth's Killing Bolts if you are already low-ish HP for example).
  15. Trying to recreate your suicide Barbarian from PoE1? Problem in Deadfire is you can't turn off injuries, so you gotta rest every 1-2 fights. Or I guess there's that potion, if it can be used infinite times per rest?
  16. You should be fine. You can take healing abilities on Pallegina, and/or pick up Tekehu. As a Druid/Chanter he is one of the best healers in the game. Main thing you will miss out on is the buffs (mainly accuracy) such as Devotions of the Faithful.
  17. Yeah currently there are very few poison keyword abilities. Makes the Kraken helmet pretty underwhelming.
  18. Only enemies I've encountered that are immune to slash are Earth Blights. So yeah basically just a small handful of fights that you'll actually need an alternative.
  19. Kapana Taga is a club now so that won't work. But yes sword is a great weapon for a non-Monk Devoted if you wanna DW.
  20. Just on activation, however you can spam it to keep dealing damage if you want. It's a pretty cheap nuke.
  21. Anything mixed with Fighter or Paladin is going to have the potential to be very tanky. Barb can add a lot of damage, though offers a very limited number of active skills compared to other martial classes - at least early on. Once you get Bloodlust and Blood Thirst and get your first kill it starts be feel really, really good. Yeah Spirit Tornado is amazing. I never really gave it much thought at first, then I tried it out and am now an avid supporter. Suits the ruthless pirate theme as well - rage so fearsome it makes his foes quiver in their boots!
  22. Pretty sure you become visible, however you remain untargetable for the duration. Never used it myself but that's been my observation from enemies using it.
  23. Only one spear has dual damage type IIRC and it's neither of the ones that scale with skills (they are both pierce). Yes you are proficient with fists, but without taking Monastic or being a Monk their damage is pitiful.
  24. First off I'll mention your title still says Fighter/Streetfighter. As for subclasses; Devoted is obviously going to do more damage outside of disengagement attacks. I'm not sure I'd take battle axe on Devoted though, despite Oathbreaker's End being a great weapon and one of my favourite new additions. Reason is you have to get through some tough fights to get it, and before you do you will be stuck with generic fine/exceptional one-handed battle axes (Magran's Favor is the only other unique, and is possibly even harder to get at low level). For your other weapon choices it should be fine though. I definitely prefer Disciplined Strikes over Tactical Barrage, unless it is a caster/support character - even more so if you go with Oathbreaker's (you need to crit to apply the DoT). While the bug persists, Lion's Sprint is quite possibly the strongest accuracy boost in the game - if you can fit it in you definitely should. Brute force can probably be dropped, as unless you are planning to actively debuff fort it will almost never actually be utilised. If you can spare an extra point, since you are taking Spirit Frenzy, Spirit Tornado is amazing. It does ~30-40 frost damage in an AoE and applies both Terrified AND Staggered. Terrified is a very strong disable with a solid duration which will let you basically pick off your enemies at leisure.
