  1. Can you lay off him, Nightguy? It's not like either of you are making a point here.

  6. Oh, c'mon. Go ****slap each other into private messages or something. To quote my gothfag friend: "I can't bear to see this travesty unfold". I mean, he is gay without trying, while you two have to write several paragraphs. To not be entirely off the topic, I think there's a high chance of K3 being an eventuality, one that is singleplayer. Even LucasArts isn't so stupid as to force mmo on it's humongous KotOR fanbase. While an eventuality, however, it's not out of the question that an mmo-iteration of KotOR might be in LA's sights first before K3. It's a very marketable franchise and so is the genre, so an amalgam sounds like something the producers likely wouldn't want to miss. Yet, they generally only have one Star Wars AA title out at a time and most of their marketing is targeted towards that one. This time, we'll likely have to wait until after Force Unleashed before a new Star Wars game of such magnitude. K3 might be years ahead as it is.
  7. Hah, that shut Hades. No, I seriously have nothing to add to the thread. I'm somewhat cautious of Bioware, but Mass Effect was a very good effort. Good enough to warrant slight hype on Dragon Age from my part. I doubt I'll get it on the first day though, not with the rig budget I now have. But it's great to know that crpgs as a genre aren't dead.
  8. Summoning - In hollow halls beneath the falls
  9. Yes, yes! Ban him! Oh wait, that's me...nevermind.
  10. Klezmer is pretty listenable Alamaailman Vasarat - Maahan(entire album)
  11. Transmetropolitan, Cowboy Bebop OST, kebab with rice and a day of chill rain.
  12. Bathory - A Fine Day to Die
  13. Well, if you want to just play the vanilla Rome:TW, then you don't really need anything else except the latest patch. Now, Barbarian Invasion in itself isn't very interesting(besides being hellishly difficult if you star with it), but it does rise the game's version number enough that all the latest mods work, like of instance Total Realism Platinum+Metronaval Mod, Europa Barbarorum, Ran no Jidai(if it's out yet, I'm terribly lost on the mod scene ever since I left my computer home) all need Barbarian Invasion. Or some interesting metamodding, but that's not really your thing, I bet. There's also several mods that make Barbarian Invasion vanilla campaign pretty awesome. As for Alexander, I haven't played it, but apparently there's a small mod sub-community for it, so it might be worth getting. I keep hearing that the vanilla campaign is pretty horrible though. Then again, it's Megas Alexandros, the period does have it's own appeal.
  14. Next time I'll only play speed metal! *grumbles off, headbanging*

  19. Woah, a blast from the past! And I...sort of agree.
  20. That's not it, exactly. MGS 3 has you gathering different healing ingredients, etc, but in Far Cry 2 the bullet removal and other animations are just that; animations. They are supposed to represent minor injury being healed, those wounds are able to be regenerated(your character bandages himself for the moment, but it's basically regeneration), but for "larger injuries"(not yet known what, but supposedly broken limb bones, fractured intestines, etc) you need rest and location with healing supplies, like a field hospital or a supply depot. It's all very neat and in the principles of fps gaming, you aren't hampered so much as to not be able to get into proper firefigts, you can still take a dozen bullets, but now you think twice about attacking installations head on.
  21. My only problem with the controls was the zoomed-in first person view. The field of view was so narrow that it was hard to stay on top of fights and whatnot. Not to mention, it feels really restricted.
  22. I'm about halfway through watching PlanetES with my friend. It's an awesome series.
