New Fallout 3 screens
Oh, Soule is most known for the fantasy epic, but he can do other stuff as well. I particularly liked his martial themes in Total Annihilation and Dawn of War. I don't get why I'm defending the guy, seriously he is just about my least favorite composer, but he can do variety. And seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Poor Bethesda. And I was just about anxious for the game after playing Shivering Isles.

Want to Help the Planet? Just Die!
If we want to remove food shortages and not use up so much fossil fuels, we should just do that. There's no reason for "lowering population". There's tons of arable land left, instead of cattle chow we could produce edible crops, farm coasts for fish, instead of mass highways, use public transportation, connect cities with it, improve upon already existing technology for both, etc. Then again, there's tons of money in both fossil fuels and beef and we live in world with western appetite and western habits so that is not about to happen anytime soon, heh.

Rise of the Argonauts
Ed Del Castillo has so far delivered on every game he's been involved with(well, ok, Dragonshard was kinda mediocre). I don't expect disappointment with this one either.

Anime recommendations: Part 2
Ugh, just don't expect it to be as epic as Juuni. I don't want to do a strict comparison yet, since the series has just begun. Yet, there's definetly similarities.

Pictures of your games
Stone Form or something? I remember the move where the character throws a stone and makes the enemy into rock which has a small tree growing was just about the only move worth making in the game. That and Mirabella.

Anime recommendations: Part 2
Seirei no Moribito was hardly boring and anything but fail. It tried to adapt a novel about being a parent into an anime that also had amazing action scenes and great characters and succeeded fairly well, only falling short when it came to some character relationships. The fact that it did not deliver on fanservice and didn't rely on visual fireworks to constantly keep anyone with an attentionspan of a muskrat od'ing on china white on the edge of their chair is a testament to the maturity of the show. It also is a testament to just how much you fail when it comes to taste. You and your Kanokon.

What you did today
^Awesome! Keep the board from going dry! I'm supposed to write an essay on The Death of a Salesman for Monday, 2000 words. So far I've only found some discussions on ethinicity and ghosts for secondary sources, but I guess I'll make an essay out of this sooner or later. If anyone feels like pitching in, please do. I can't quote any text that's not published in an academic premier for instance, but ideas are always nice.

Just a note: If some of you are not watching Amatsuki yet, they should. It's shaping up nicely and the fantasy play on Bakumatsu era is just great. There are echoes of Juuni Kokki and Irohanihoheto there, but I'm getting a strong Seirei no Moribito feel as well, although the themes could hardly be more dissimilar.
