Yep, I like both Diablos and I like Freelancer. All of them have depth below and beyond the simple approximation of "clickclick" or "Diablow", yet the gameplay is what makes the games and I for one think it's entertaining.

I just think it's a bit daft to discuss mourning and grief since it's very personal. Of course talking about it helps, but this is afterall Teh Internets, an altogether bad place to have discussion about anything much less a personal issue.

Actually, of the single player of FL, "Diablo in space" is a very good approximation. I mean, it's a loot hunt right? The more you get the better you advance and get new levels and ships. There's none of the complexity multiplayer brings, it's just shooting stuff in space and some minor trading(Alien artifacts to Planet Manhattan <3).
