  1. Yeah, tumma koi. Real class. No hard feelings Mothie, eh?
  2. I can't remember any media-influenced dreams, game dreams, book dreams, forum dreams, anything.
  3. Yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quite so. Among other news, you really could have picked somehting more creative than just cutting your name in half and adding the most used adjective in the internet. Go search members beginning with "Dark". Boo-yeah.
  4. Kue Jin are the orientalese vampah dudes.
  5. I think the translation thing is kinda explained by my last post. We don't have Illiad here, do we?
  6. Illias->Illiad Belgarion->Belgariad Makes sense, no?
  7. I'm sure. Can't remember the exact source, but it was probably part of the hub-bub after E3. Why would they need SEGA anyway?
  8. Those and: Sea of Souls Rome
  9. I heard that the book was stupid and thought that I might as well just watch the movie adaptation.
  10. Oh god, The Belgariad were my first fantasy books. Such memories... Now I can't even look at the books, since I found out that Eddings just repeats the same character personalities and plots over and over again. Although I think that after his wife came along the books have been gradually worse. I remember reading everything except that new Elder Gods thing. I tried them, but it was just too horrible. A good name wasted.
  11. What do you mean with Sega? Obsidian has a contract with them, but the license isn't Star Wars. They are making an original rpg from a new license.
  12. The Da Vinci Code All in all, it was actually watchable. Sure, the abysmal acting or the lack of any acting whatsoever was a real turnoff for me, but the vat of popcorn and absolutely insane ahistorical conspiracy theories got me. Even though the actors had been hired just to stand there and look preofessional, I had to see how the thing ends, even if I guessed the plot, or who the main players were, from the get-go. Sure, the betrayal took me by surprise by I merely shrugged if off because the focus of the movie was somewhere entirely else than story progression and character chemistry. And the art and sights almost gave the movie one star out of seven. Then again, I haven't read the book and didn't pay anything to see the movie. Did it affect my experience? Beats me.
  13. Curious fact, my last drinking partner had Bukowski's Post Office in his bag. I thought he was a total jerkface at first but looks can be deciev...and you know. I just finished reading Mika Waltari's The Etruscan(Turms Kuolematon), which surpisignly enough turned out to be a mild satire on epic, while the book started more like a typical growing up and getting kick out of swords and sorcery type of story. In an ancient greek/etruscan/persian milieu of course, but a fantasy story nonetheless.
  14. Kotor should have been made with this type of gameplay in mind for future incarnations of the title i.e. they should have designed a more action oriented gameplay style that would evolve into this, in time. It's a shame that they settled for the safer but underwhelming D&D based combat system. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's nothing underwhelming about d20, it was just presentation that's underwhelming. Take note though, that K is an rpg.

The change caught me off balance. I was just about to hit the bunk when the system went crazy. :D
  16. By "this" I meant that listing of pentacle info.
  17. :D That was kinda my point. The waste of time, I mean. Sorry, no zing this time.
  18. Pentacle is a pentagram without the circle. Is this going anywhere? Is it even relevant?
  19. "Thank you Obsidian community" Well, I was glad to be of help.
  20. I've seen only one episode of the show, but I thought that picture was funny.
  21. Eh, blood boil is the one useful trick.
  22. It's 13 Celsius here. I guess that's around 50 Fahrenheit to you Amerikanskies.
