  1. I watched a couple of episodes of Over There and I think I like it. When they keep the wife drama to minimun and concentrate on the war stuff and BoB-esque brothers-in-armism, it's very watchable.
  2. Aw ****, I liked the guy. I hardly ever read his books, but that's still sad.
  3. I remember when Draken was Drafette and we posted on the FanARt thread.
  4. Otomo's Akira 9 and 10, Dan Simmon's Fall of Hyperion, Miller's Booze, Broads and Bullets and Waid/Ross's Kingdom Come.
  5. I think I was here. Probably a bit drunk, but mostly in the state known as "here".
  6. John Mayall - She's too young Likin' it.
  7. That thread is the stuff. The stuff!
  8. Yeah, around 98% get bored there or with the subsequent 2500 skeletons you have to behead in that chapter. Too bad fro them, since the game is way too good to pass by.
  9. Blade of Darkness was awesome. So was Rune, that was released around the same time. Rune took back in ambience what it lost in combat mechanics. Severance had a great fighting system and it was damn difficult to master, since the game was so trigger happy when dealing death. I mean, anyone remember that demon boss? Or the troll?
  10. I had that thing in KotOR 1, when entering the Taris(or whatever the first city was) hideout. I was seriously pisssed since I thought it was unrepairable. Re-install and re-patching fixed it. Thankfully.
  11. Case in point: NWN 2 Gothic 3 and Dark Messiah get released at roughly the same time.
  12. "Well ride me sideways and whip me with a winkle fork, lads! There's a lot of the bastards, aren't there? Those arseweasels are here to get away from their unfulfilled, shrill wives. Hardly surprising, as they all have tiny little manhoods! Smaller than a flea on a ****roach's bum!" :D It's one the pre-battle speeches a general that has the bad mouthed-trait line can give. This is from Rome, of course.
  13. Why? It's not like the target group knows what is a pacrpg. You could very well have two out and both would sell well. I mean, it doesn't have to be a desert with mutants and modern weaponry, right? Post-apocalyptic is a wide genre nomer.
  14. A pacrpg which is NOT set on a desert in the States. I wish.
  15. Just choose some random state with high bike disappearance rate.
  16. Gnarls Barkley - Gone daddy gone
  17. New Jersey doesn't "officially" exist right now. the game, not the city
  18. Senselessness? I live in a suburb at the city's fringe, I've lived here for 18 years and over those years only 2 bikes have been stolen from the general area. And have kept my bike at the front, which is hidden from the street since the bike/tool/moped shed is in front of it, forever. This is the first time I've been stolen a bike of right from our house. Don't you write about senselessness, sithdude, when all I've been doing is what I've always done. If this was California, I'd call myself stupid to leave the bike out in front, but it's not.
  19. ^Hah, first post-only reader! If it was true, I'd say good riddance, since the event has shifted focus so much after it's heavy marketizing. I mean, sure the games still the main thing, but there's so much extra unnecessary weight on the expo that it's high time something less grandiose was corporealised. Small, maybe one-label or -publisher events are actually the way to go. Audiecne still gets their coverage and glitter, but thanks to the events private nature, hyping and whoring your product is much more efficient. Of course, if the focus would shift to little events, there'd be even more unhealthy competing among them.
  20. I'm thinking about my bike. I had for two weeks and it was stolen this morning. Must be karmic backlash from something I've done. Although it could have been just because the bike was so new. I should have kept it in the shed, instead of just leaving it on the frontyard locked. Well, back to the old assbuster, let's see how well it does with all the hills and dirt roads my general course has adopted since I got an all-terrain bike.
  21. NWN 2, Gothic 3, Dark Messiah and uni.
  22. You have just made the simplification of the year. Am I a Thief fan? Hah, I played the Baffords demo on the winter of -98, and have been mesmerised ever since. I remember getting the original Thief on a game collection pack called "Play the Games" a huge pink box with DK2, Tomb Raider 3, Dune 2000, etc. There were 12 games all in all, but I think I spent around twice the amount on Thief 1 than all the other games combined. I found Thief 2 when it was part of the Sold Out collection back in -03 and haven't stopped playing it ever since. I think my fan mission collection amounted to around 300 once, but I have since deleted most stuff since I never had time to play everything that got released. I download a couple mission every month though. Thief 3 was a blast too. A simplified and itchy blast, but a blast nonetheless. Shalebrigde Cradle, wankers!
  23. Yeah, I know about Park being an actual pro.
