  1. Can I use this auto save from finishing the game to continue on to White March? I have it in my save game folder but it doesn't come up as an option to load.
  2. Pretty much this, yeah. Changes coming will make it better, but it's in great shape as it is.
  3. Yeah sound started cutting out since last patch. Hope a fix comes soonish.
  4. Weird. I've played many hours, even back to the beta and I've never gotten stuck like that anywhere.
  5. Would be a nice addition. I'd even settle for a larger back log so I can see everything that happened from the beginning during longer battles.
  6. Yes he did. He said he finished it a couple weeks ago, but hasn't heard any feedback from it yet. Said he'll fix/do any revisions if the editor asks for it.
  7. I paid $550 or so I think, and I'm quite happy with the game, for what it's worth. Well done Obsidian.
  8. Has this been confirmed as a bug? I always thought they threw it in there to mix things up a bit , keep the player on his toes.
  9. I wasn't following the story down there very well. Those spirits giving me hints on what happened and what not, but I was having trouble piecing it all together myself. Is the titan Od Nua himself, or his son? Everything before going down there, and in your journal seems to indicate the statue is Od Nua himself, but then on the lower levels I'm getting the impression it was made in the likeness of his son and for his son's soul to take? I never did find a clear answer. Tried to get the son's name as well, you can ask Od Nua what it is, but he never told me. The son is Caed Nua I assume? How would the keep in the above world be known as Caed Nua if the son was insignificant and just died one day causing his king to go mad with grief and start building this titan? OP is just confusing me even more... hehe. I know Od Nua mentioned he cast the spell himself which encased him in the adra, and I think he said he did it just to spite them... so they couldn't get at his body to harm him further or something.
  10. Sound bug you mentioned here is horrible. I'm not even getting sound for scripted interactions anymore. The pause in ambient sound while looting corpses is very jarring. Major bug as far as I'm concerned, hope they get a fix out soon as I won't be playing until they do.
  11. Hit this bug today, first play on 1.06. This is a major bug, and needs a fix asap. I'm very near the end, and I guess I won't be finishing until this is fixed. No sound even for scripted interactions anymore, and every looted corpse pauses the ambient sound... not enjoyable.
  12. Think it's worth every penny, would gladly back again. But yeah, if you're not into deep story with plenty of dialogue, I'd pass. I backed for the story, dialogue, art, etc, and while I enjoyed the tactical combat of the old IE games it's not the reason I play these games. Pillars though, really surprised me here... especially after not enjoying the combat much in the backer beta, I ended up really liking it. From the talk up to release I was expecting a great challenge on hard, but with a full party and doing the side quests to max exp, most battles haven't been very challenging (except for 1 or 2 encounters)... and maybe that's a good thing because I've been having a good time.
  13. I do see it now, in Auto-Pause options, weird. Not sure how I ever missed that, or they've ninja'd it in just lately. So yeah, I see the tooltip mentions it's activated according to the numbers of enemies... hmm... why? I'd rather just have it activated at combat start regardless of enemy count.
  14. What?!?! This option exists?! I've been thinking how much I'd like something like this, never knew it was in the game already?! Yeah I hit slow key when combat starts and it's perfect for me, also pause when needed. But I'm sick of always turning it on and off (it auto goes off if I hit it AFTER combat starts, but sometimes I've already hit it before sneak attack, etc, and so I have to manually turn it off after combat ends.) Anyways, yeah if there's an option to slow during combat only, I wanna see it.
  15. Here's something that surprised me: Giacco, the guy you can release from Raedric's dungeon will end up in a hideout, somewhere south of Gilded Vale. Magran's Fork maybe.
  16. Ok good to know. I was curious because Medreth said something about "stopping by and giving my regards to the Doemenels the next time I'm in Defiance Bay." I was expecting to find him back there, but never did. Do you know which inn you found him in?
  17. Who's Meredith? Did you mean Medreth the Doemenel hire who's looking for the orlan in Dyrford? Or did you mean Maerwith who's the daughter of the banshee?

  19. Was wondering what the limit was, but was never sure. I haven't run into it during this play through, but I may in the future. What you suggest sounds perfect, just a small bump to allow for 1 of each class without bogging down memory or whatever blocker makes the limit necessary in the first place.
