  1. Got my PayPal working and I'm in! Will contribute more if we get closer to goal. Running out of time here guys, do you think we'll make it?
  2. Wanted in on this but having trouble with PayPal. Lost my account somehow so I created a new one, but they won't let me link the same bank account/credit card since it's still associated with the lost account. I could open up a new bank account I suppose, but what a hassle. I've asked PayPal about it well over a week ago now, haven't gotten a reply back. No other payment options hmmm?
  3. Thanks for the input Ganrich. I'll be backing somewhere between $500-$2000 most likely. I'll read some more threads this evening and get caught up on all the ideas that have been tossed around. If it means I'll split my pledge to support both a ship and an island, that's cool too.
  4. I don't really see a huge benefit to this, and if it meant replacing the hand drawn art I wouldn't support the idea.
  5. So now it's an island? What happened to the pirate ship idea and the "Black Isle Bastards?" .... also, where's my Obsidian Order of Eternity forum badge I've been trying to get since forever now...!
  6. Count me in!!! Very exciting. So busy lately, have been missing all of what's going on... but this is awesome, and I want to be a part of it.
  7. Still haven't seen my badge either, hmmmm. There may have been a problem with using a different email between these forums and Kickstarter. What can I do to fix this up? On the list I'm: Vesahgo, Nullifier of the Obsidian Order.
  8. Whips would be great, I've requested this in the past as well. With all the Deadfire slavers, it's gotta happen.
  9. Yeah I'm a little disappointed at hearing this. I thought we were in for a high level campaign dealing with the Gods and potential godlike powers for our classes. Don't get me wrong, I adore low level campaigns but to re-level a character you've already leveled doesn't sound all that appealing. As already stated in this thread if it was a brand new level 1 character, no problems, but roll back to level 1 from a 16th level character—eww. And what this does to the narrative as well, not giving me good vibes. I'll have faith in the team and hope they prove me wrong.
  10. Agreed. Partial voiceover was the right call for the first game, all things considered, so nothing should change for the second installment. I'd love full voiceover for everyone except protagonist, but it's just unrealistic budget wise and would also put limits on the amount of content writers are allowed.
  11. Yeah played through half of early access beta, thought it was terrific. Felt very Tormenty, and was exactly as I was expecting. Looking forward to the full release.
  12. Same here, I backed both projects on day 1. I knew what I was backing though, both games are very different, and therefore expectations for each are very different. For instance with Pillars, good tactical combat was an important ingredient for me, and I think it's achieved that. With TTON, I don't think I care if there's combat at all as I'm looking to avoid most of it with a clever smooth talker and just enjoy the story. Basically I've been expecting to play through Pillars and enjoy it as I did BGII, and TTON as I played through PST. That looks to be exactly what I'm getting and thrilled about it. Pillars has delivered exactly what I wanted, now we'll see about TTON, but I'd say it's well on it's way with what I've played through in the beta.
