I'm a backer and have the achievement, but don't think it should be done this way. Developers should have a golden rule for all achievements being achievable by all players regardless. No time limit, backer, pre-order, promotion crap involved there at all. Still have a pet for the backers, and a cloak for the Obsidian Order sure, but if you create an achievement for obtaining all pets or cloaks, don't include the promo pet or cloak in the achievement completion.

I'm certainly taking my time with the game. Mid Act II is as far as I've seen, having restarted once. Only play a couple hours per day at most, so yeah, it's still going to be awhile before I see the end. That's fine thou, still loving it.

Just for the uninformed, that is $24 million. Just for VO. I don't know about that. I read it as they would have needed 4x the voice over budget (a number we don't know), not 4x the whole games budget. Yeah that's how I took it as well. Say they set aside 1M for VO's well they'd need 4M just for VO if they wanted to do every line.

Well said and I agree on all points, except for the fact that I enjoyed all the DA games, even the 2nd one. Love what you said about the game feeling like it has a soul of it's own, I feel it too.

Has anyone tried a barb tank? Like full plate and a shield? or deflection would still be too low? or is dual-wielding necessary for essential abilities? I haven't tried a barb, just thinking out loud here, but sounds like a great idea with their AoE's, and the game claims to support unique builds... hmmm.....

Keep bug? I just got there, what's this bug? Sorry I meant the Raedric's Hold bug when doing the Lord of a barren land quest. There have been a lot of reports of people either getting stuck in the hold unable to get out or unable to get back in and although there is a workaround of deleting certain files some people have continued to have problems going other places afterwards so i just havn't done that quest in the first place as it doesn't seem to stop you from advancing the main story. Hopefully Obsidian will release a fix before I finish the game got'cha, thanks for filling me in. I've not been to Raedric's Hold nor Defiance Bay yet, I've just entered the Endless Paths dungeon and wondering how far I have to take it before I can claim the keep.

There is an option in settings to "cage cursor" that should fix your problem. Although even with it enabled at one time it wasn't working for me, but I cleared it up by switching from fullscreen to fullscreen (windowed) and back again. Hope that helps.
