I don't know if people will start wearing helmets all of a sudden because this person died on the slopes. Many people die from head injuries in different circumstances such as car accidents. Should we then start wearing helmets in cars?

I know the feeling. Been living with my girlfriend for over a year now and the things she said, she would do, etc and then changed her mind countless times is incredible. When we started going out, my girlfriend suggested that I should to do the 'man stuff' like wash both cars, handyman stuff (fix the toilet, do the flyscreens, etc) and she said she would do the 'woman stuff' (washing, ironing, etc). That changed very quickly, I can assure you. I think this picture sums it up perfectly.

I saw Watchmen and Friday the 13th the other day. I thought Watchmen was fantastic. Friday the 13th was good and had a very long introduction. I thought WTF, this is going to be a short movie and then Friday the 13th came came up and then thought, that was a long intro.

300 isn't a comedy. It's Frank Miller's interpretation in comic format transferred to film. 300 is a rare, surprisingly good and faithful adaption of the comic. If you read the comic, you would see how good of a film it is.

I've always liked , , and that I downloaded all the episodes. After watching all the episodes recently, it wasn't as good as I remembered and now I know why they cancelled them mid season. Eighties TV shows were so cheesy.

What happened for 45 minutes that couldn't have been summed up in 5-10 minutes? Basically, . I know there was some other things, but I felt it just dragged on and nothing really important happened.

Next 6 episodes? Lostpedia tells me that this season will have 17 episodes total and this one was the eighth. Great. Imdb, is obviously wrong. I'd like to see how the writers manage to get around with the survivors

Great episode. The look on Sawyer's face after . Can't wait for the next two episodes. I'm hoping they'll show Faraday in the Orchid and more on Charlotte. And then the others with Locke and Ben still has to come. Quite a bit to wrap up in the next 6 episodes when the Season ends.

I would've liked to have seen the asteroid hit. This is a bit of an anti-climax.

I nuked Sydney. Interesting, I thought the area covered would be a lot more. The Tsar Bomba seems to be the only bomb that does significant damage.

So, it's okay to copy tv shows from the tv, whether they be free to air or cable (even the cable tv channels like Foxtel encourage this) for personal use. But you're not allowed to copy the same show from the internet for your own personal use - unless it's from their own TV website such as a podcast. If a tv channel has a podcast, is it still illegal to download it from a torrent site?

So you think recording a show from TV is okay and not pirating. Practically every episode of every TV show on torrent sites is recorded from TV. TV Shows are by far the most popular downloads on torrent sites followed by movies. Also, the MPAA would disagree with you and say that taping a show from TV is piracy - especially if you share it with someone. MPAA sues six BitTorrent sites linking to TV shows. I mean, if you have a dvd recorder and tape every episode of the current season of LOST and don't share it with anyone, then effectively, you have the complete season at home. In a way, it was 'downloaded' via the TV and you 'copied' it illegally, and you didn't have to go out and buy the season on dvd.

I asked is taping a show from TV the same as stealing. You said 'Ah, so piracy is okay then.' WTF??? People have been taping shows from the TV for at least the last 25 years. Are they all pirates? 15 Years ago, if I gave a VHS copy of something I taped from TV to a friend, does that make me a pirate? Or if 15 years ago, a friend asked me to tape something for him because he wouldn't be home that night and I recorded a TV show for him and gave it to him the next time I saw him, does that make me a pirate? So, you think taping a show from TV is the same as piracy and it's okay?? These are questions I'm asking. I'm not saying this is or isn't piracy. And I'm responding to the quote because Hurlshot's quote is a general comment and there are people who think sharing TV shows with other people is piracy. If 25 years ago, say it wasn't considered piracy, but now it is, what's changed?

I agree to a point. If it wasn't for broadband being so pervasive, you wouldn't have so many people downloading. Now, it's easier to download a tv show, or movie than to take the time to go to a video shop. You can download a whole season and while you're watching one episode, you're downloading the next couple of episodes at the same time. Back in the dial up days, you wouldn't even think of doing this.

I was reading a news article today about the torrent site pirate bay being taken to court. The article states, "The Pirate Bay links to files on the decentralised BitTorrent network, but does not store any files on its servers." - which is what pretty much all torrent sites do. Another way of looking as it is, use google to search for torrents and you get links to sites - including torrent sites. So is google to blame as well? When was it illegal to use a hyperlink to another site using a search engine? And do you think this court case will do anything.

^ The first season is the best. If you can rent out the second season on dvd, it's good to see on the special features disc what they had in store before the writers strike happened. They had to wrap up the second season which is why it's a let down. Also, they actually filmed a couple of episodes that never went to air and it's good to see those scenes where the season would have went. The third season is okay.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I liked it and thought it was a good prequel. It would be good to see another movie that tells the story between the prequel and the first movie with Lucian and Kraven. One thing I didn't like about the prequel is that at the end, they spoiled Viktor's secret concerning Selene.

Yeah, so. 20 episodes - 14 episodes = 6 episodes left. There isn't 7 episodes. Just becaue the last episode is longer doesn't make it two episodes.
