  1. oh btw, there is a movie about this called Men behind the Sun.
  2. I like their electronics and food. They also make good cars.
  3. Conspiracy with Val Kilmer. I think this review on IMDB summed it up perfectly. I only wished I had read this before spending the time and bandwidth on this monstrosity.
  4. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. I had very low expectations going into this movie but My God I think my IQ went down after seeing this.
  5. Just finished watching Season 1 of Threshold. Another good Sci-Fi show where they cancelled it mid season. Only 13 episodes and left hanging up in the air.
  6. Saw the viking vs alien movie Outlander last night. Not sure what I watched.
  7. ^^ I was the same. I watched the first three episodes of Sanctuary and thought bleah. I finally persisted (after a couple of months) and finally sat down and watched it and the season finale was excellent. I've only seen Season 1 of Torchwood and haven't been backed to see the rest of the series. Watching too many TV series at the moment.
  8. It's a shame Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled. Season 1 was great but Season 2 was a little weird in the middle episodes especially with Sarah going to a psychiartrist (and probably why the show suffered in the ratings) and then the Season finished on a high. They really got you in and ripped out your heart by cancelling the show leaving it up in the air like that.
  9. I just finished watching Season 1 of the TV series Sanctuary. It's only 13 episodes (bit slow in the middle episodes) but wow, what a season finale. Can't wait for Season 2. I'm now going to go watch the 8 original webisodes that Season 1 is based on.
  10. Panic Room. I'd forgotten how good David Fincher is.
  11. Yeah, apparently it's from the dvd box set.
  12. I'm going to have to put some time aside to watch this series. I'm glad at least Season 1 is finished so I can just watch it from start to finish. I watch too many tv series already.
  13. also watched Wonder Woman the animated movie. Managed to get a copy of the Bluray.
  14. The first two are right. The last bit about cams is wrong... I wouldn't waste my time on cams. I'm talking about dvds. Some people get dvd screeners. For those who don't know what a dvd screener is, it's a pre retail dvd, sent to rental stores, and various other places (eg. reviewers) for promotional use. They usually don't have the special features of the retail version of the dvd. This has been going on back in the VHS days and still continues. My brother would get VHS screeners when he worked at a video shop and I would watch movies before they were released. Also, some dvds are released in different dvd zones before other zones. So, you can get a copy of a dvd from one region before it hits the cinema in your own region. Again, nothing has changed as people have been getting copies of dvds from different zones since dvds came out.
  15. some people manage to get a copy of the dvd before it's released.
  16. watched Green Lantern First Flight as well. Pretty good.
  17. Looks like Sarkozy wants to use his right shoe to do something.
  18. I saw Push a few days ago. It was pretty ordinary.
  19. No, that was X-Files Fight the Future which came out 10 years ago. X-Files I Want to Believe came out last year and was about a serial killer type movie. got me. retarded is the word that repeatedly pops into my mind. taks It was like watching a 2 hour episode of Criminal Minds. The X-Files part in this movie was pretty ordinary. Other than the psychic and , it was just a generic serial killer type movie.
  20. X-Files I Want to Believe. Because of bad reviews I've read my expectations were pretty low and after watching it, quite justified. Why didn't they stick to the mythology with the aliens???
  21. Just finished watching Saw I-V and now I see Saw VI is coming out in October. They really know how to flog this series. *sigh*
  22. Red Cliff and Red Cliff II. What a marathon, watching that last night. lol. Fantastic epic story telling.
  23. Taken with Liam Neeson. I liked it.
  24. Where is it out?? You have to go to an arty farty cinema (Dendy Cinema's in Australia), not the usual megaplex cinemas like Hoyts and Greater Union.
