  1. How about a proper Might and Magic X to wash the taste of MnM9 out of my mouth.
  2. I was once goofing around and put on my wife's bathing suit. Very tight. Anyhow, she threatened to take a picture of me. I'm a bit shameless myself when it comes to silly stuff. She still has that picture somewhere. Talk about scary!
  3. Whoah, cowboy. Let's all be thankful for the filter. hahaha
  4. This wouldn't exactly be an example of my favorite lyrics. Still, it was a funny song. Chumbawumba --- tubthumpin We'll be singin' When we're winnin' We'll be singin' Repeat (4x): I get knocked down But I get up again You're neva gonna Keep me down Pissin' the night away Pissin' the night away He drinks a whisky drink He drinks a vodka drink He drinks a lager drink He drinks a cider drink He sings the songs that Remind him Of the good times He sings the songs that Remind him Of the betta times: "Oh Danny Boy Danny Boy Danny Boy Danny Boy..." Repeat Chorus(4x) Pissin' the night away Pissin' the night away He drinks a whiskey drink He drinks a vodka drink He drinks a lager drink He drinks a cider drink He sings the songs that Remind him Of the good times He sings the songs that Remind him Of the betta times: "Don't cry for me Next door neighbour..." Repeat Chorus(4x) Chorus repeated throughout outro 'til end of song Outro: We'll be singin' When we're winnin' We'll be singin'
  5. Vote early, vote often. Aha! The power of the pen. Don't worry, though. Someone will turn cowboy on me for that post, just you wait and see.
  6. I still remember the ol' Temple of Apshai. That was a great one. Another great old title was sundog. ADVENTURE was quite good. There are all sorts of great games I remember from the past.
  7. I don't demand accuracy from a movie. Like you, I'll overlook the odd stray innaccuracy if it's a good show.
  8. lol, julian. Afraid of seeing Mr. Hyde? I couldn't think of a better place to post my essay, so I took advantage of DL's post. It's good to reassess one's place on the boards every now and then.
  9. The term, friend, is doofus. :D Just commenting on my little patch o' web.
  10. I rather enjoyed the session last night. There wasn't a lot of action, but I like the rp aspect anyhow. I especially liked how we managed to strike up a deal. Personally, from what I can gather, it was much better for both parties than an outright war.
  11. You know, DL, I can
  12. good save. I will say that I like all the moderators, and enjoy working with them as a team. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The diplomat in our midst. Hydrogen is a great moderator. She reminds of great moderators with whom I have worked in the past. I say this without a hint of irony, I view Hydrogen and Fionavar as old friends. I wouldn't have undertaken something so miserable as moderating if that weren't the case.
  13. Quite interesting. I lived on Guam a while back and it was hit by typhoons every now and again and again.
  14. hahaha. This is where I send a PM to pixies and, with a joke maybe, let him know that he's spamming his own thread. If he doesn't stop, he'll get an official warning. hahaha
  15. An unofficial warning is where one of us writes to you and mentions something about your behavior. We might joke a little, or we might be stern or even conversational, but the point is always that something you've done is questionable and you should change it. An official warning will come with an explicit citation that you have been officially warned. We usually try to discuss things with members before we actually warn except for truly significant offenses.
  16. I've behaved myself on this board from day one, so I will gladly say "behind me." Of course, I'm helping derail your thread. See, a moderator derails a thread with the help of the thread originator! It's mayhem in the streets. I've always figured a little spam in WoT isn't such a terrible thing, so no big deal. We'd best be careful before a mod locks the thread.
  17. This one made me laugh. It's true, I do feel compelled to err on the side of caution much more than past. Anyhow, my prime flaming days are behind me.
  18. Anything like Charles Whittaker's "Dirty ol' Town?" I know, I'm a lamer. I like Roger Whittaker.
  19. Asking the wrong bunch. As far as pecking order goes, we're the shrieker monkies. You want the real board monkies for that one... ADMIN! However, I'll post this in the mod's forum just to see whether Guildmaster of some other admin sees it. Maybe hydro or Fio can do something also.
  20. hahaha First time I saw the full disclaimer was on the F.E.A.R. demo. It's also on the Doom 3 expansion and Dungeon Siege 2.
  21. This often happens to me, also. The topic still posts, though, so I haven't worried about it.
  22. Interesting song, Pope. Actually, both of them were quite well done. Here's a little one for me. U2 Beautiful Day The heart is a bloom Shoots up through the stony ground There
  23. You know, the fact that McDonalds foolishly did not settle is not the point. The lady did not deserve an award of almost 3 million. I'm usually leery of second guessing the jury, particularly in criminal cases. The only criminal in this case, however, is McDonalds' legal team, who is undoubtedly criminally foolish. Still, an award to cover the medical expenses combined with a punitive award makes sense to me. Pushing 3 million does not. Apparently, the jury also felt that the woman in question was responsible for some of her injury, which makes sense to me. They then decided to punish McDonalds excessively for their attitude. I think that was a mistake. Personally, I
