I suggest you change your rude post now. I will put whatever I like in my siggy thankyou, if you don't like it block it out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is a reason why there is an option "Ignore user" in your control panel. It's much more polite to switch that on then telling people they are stupid.

It was allready discovered earlier. And you can read about it in the Kotor III Suggestions topic. I guess you don't have to bother any longer as some moderator will close this thread with a big smile.

Off course the story is the most important factor. And at least some of us are making storyline proposals. (Me too). And if you read my post right, there are some things in it which is to a certain extent about the story. No 1) Is that about the story or what? No 3) Do you want to visit many old planets again in Kotor III? Dantooine and Korriban again. How about no 4) To get a good story, you should take plenty of time. No 6) If you turn a character into a Jedi it could make a difference later on (like it did with the Handmaiden). No 7 then) I would like to see the ship again, it's about the story. Or are these reactions just based on one line I made about hooded robes and customizable lightsaber hilts? Well, I am sorry that I sound so defensive with this but then I hope you would next time explain this in a bit more constructive way. Complaining about others posts is so easy. Look at what most people do here? They either make a one line suggestion or they complain about each others posts. Sorry but it makes me a bit desperate when I read three reactions which I see as targeted against me!

Well, at least it was some text completely taken out of an official book. And Wikipedia? Well, that isn't so official either. I guess we would never know. Some text that I can take from the book after the battle (Kyp did succeed in his objective mind you) Kyp felt obliterated, bone-tired, as though he'd run for days, drawing on the Force to sustain him, and had finally settled down for rest. My opinion after these comments? I guess we wouldn't know and we probably never will who is the stronger one of these two. But I guess we shouldn't continue discussing who is stronger (Kyp or Luke), before a mod locks the thread. The thread was about Revan versus Luke.

Always some problems in every forum I guess. Well, now that I am making a post I guess I should make some suggestions which have been written about a 100 times on this forum I guess. But at least they are serious: 1) Have the ability to set your previous characters (Revan and the Exile)alignment / face and have them in the game itself. The Architect's poll has said enough. 2) Hooded robes and customizable lightsaber hilts (Yes, yes, it has been said pretty often and it is not to difficult to bring this in). 3) New planets. A lot of us wants to go to Coruscant so this one should be included. In a storyline I made I had only one previous planet, Dxun. I don't think we need more returnings. We have no doubt seen enough of Dantooine and Korriban. Total planets? In my story there were 9 planets but I didn't do anything with space stations or ships in the story. 4) Uhm, I guess they have learned the lesson that they shouldn't rush the game like they did with Kotor II. Still we cannot say it enough times do we. 5) How about being able to play as another species? You could also think of different properties for each species: Cathar: Force camouflage Little Green Jedi: ability to upgrade to ultimate force focus and have the ability to put more into Wisdom at the start Falleen: Ability to change skin color and the ability to stay underwater for ours. Maybe some other species will have different properties. The human must also have it's benefits I think. 6) Maybe bring back the idea of the ability to turn or or 2 of your NPC's into a Jedi, but do it better then it was done in Kotor II. 7) The Ebon Hawk should be back as your ship again. Perhaps we could upgrade it this time. That's enough for now I think.

One of Ob's dev teams failings "Consistency"
hawk replied to shadowriath's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How about the fact you could first go to Nar Shaddaa and after that to Onderon. On Nar Shaddaa you must change the Ebon Hawk's ID signature and you then go to Onderon and hear what Tobin says: "The Ebon Hawk, I was told to expect your arrival" Yes, I know, the game was rushed but it is on topic. -
Thank you!

When you take the EU into consideration Luke isn't the most powerful Jedi in the New Jedi Order. Kyp Durron is more powerful, Anakin Solo might also be more powerful while it is often argumented that Revan was the most powerful Jedi in his time. How about that.
-
Not a bad idea IMO. But why do you think that the Exile is canonically a male?
-
I think I can make some comparisons here. When I read through the New Jedi Order Series of books it is quiet clear that Luke is quiet a strong jedi for certain, when I read the text I guess he can move with Master Speed, execute some powerful force waves and he can fight quiet a bit Yuuzhan Vong which cannot be detected thorugh the force. Therefore, I guess you cannot put them in stasis but I guess Luke never learned how to put an enemy in Stasis. He makes more use of the lightsaber. I guess Luke has also got Master Valor and one power we don't use in Kotor, force sense. He could detect when he is in danger. Where Luke is failing however is his ability to heal. In the new Jedi Order some Jedi (Luke himself as well at the end) will get poisoned. And they only save Mara and Luke himself. Now, the Yuuzhan Vong poison might be far different to the poison we sometimes get in Kotor but is it strange that I always wondered how Revan / the Exile / Bastila / Juhani etc would stand up against this. Okay, so far about Luke. Now some comparisons: First of all, how would Luke stand up against 3 Droideka's? I think he would deflect some blaster bolts and then run away, just like Obiwan and Qui-con and also Obiwan and Anakin. What would Revan do. 3 Droideka's are no matach for Revan! LS Revan: Destroy droid, maybe 4 or 5 times. And Revan would be standing there, heal himself for a bit of damage and go on his way. DS Revan: Same drill with Force Lightning. After the battle he needs some Medpacks or use quiet a bit of Force energy to heal himself (see why LS is stronger) Second comparison: Tactics. How long did the war against the Yuuzhan Vong take. Quiet some time I think. It was only when the shamed one's of the Yuuzhan Vong allied themselves with the Jedi order that things began to look better for the new republic and that they 'won' because Luke and Jacen killed the Supreme Overlord and the living world of Zonama Sekot appeared close to Coruscant. Now I wonder what would have happened had Revan taken charge of the war against the Vong. Would he have used weapons of mass destruction (a Sun crusher) and finish it as quick as possible. Looks a bit the Kyp Durron tactic in that time and we know how bad that went. IMO, I somehow think that Revan was one of the best strategists in his time and I would rate him on level with Grand Admiral Thrawn. I surely hope we can see how great Revan's tactics are in a possible Kotor III! Somehow I always wondered how Revan would have dealt with the situation in the prequel trilogy. Would he support the Jedi councils decision to send a large Jedi strike force on Geonosis? Maybe, but he would after that learn more about the attack and he would take Obiwan's comments about Dooku far more serious then. Why was there such a large army of battle droids. They were obviously expecting the Jedi to gather to rescue Obi Wan. Would he support Windu's decision to confront Palpatine to arrest or kill him? Probably not. No, I think Revan would have dealt with the situation a lot better then the Jedi council did. I am not sure how but I think he would have found out a better solution to the problem. Well, back to the final duel between Luke and Revan. If Revan would be a Jedi Guardian I think they are each equals in lightsaber combat. Now, I have never seen any evidence that Luke could use Energy resistance so that might be the key Revan would use to defeat Luke. Other then that, Revan is much better in force healing (I think especially Revan is stronger in the Light side then in the dark side). So yes, Revan would win in a duel. If Revan would be a Jedi Sentinel? He would be able to defeat luke with his kind of defenses. LS Consular would be a little bit more difficult to beat Luke but Revan would probably be able to put Luke in a stasis field or continually wave him away. Perhaps he could use some DS powers to defeat him. Just remember that Luke hasn't got as much experience in dealing with a (Dark) Jedi opponent then Revan has at an equal level. That's a very big difference.

Why does she have to stop? If I would post such I would have to complain a lot. How about those dumb wishes: "I want to play as a hutt Jedi" "I want to play as a non force sensitive" "I want to go to a 100 planets" "I want to have Kotor III MMORPG" "I want to have a black lightsaber" "I want to play as a Rancor Jedi" Should I politely ask all these people to stop posting these dumb wishes?

Lucasarts will probably not be proud to read that it is once again be exclusive to Microsoft

Has anyone actually be able to make a build which could catch Kreia into a Stasis field? I have tried it sometimes, first plague which should break most defenses. Then Force breach and then a stasis field which unfortunately always failed. I could catch her with Kill / Insanity or Crush though. Catching Sion and Nihilus in Stasis? No problem

What is more frustrating is that one's it got out, the only things we got are two patches, one game patch and one media patch to solve just a few problems among a huge list. One game which I also play is X3:Reunion. This game was build in two years and it was rushed too. But at least that company (Egosoft) does it's best to solve a lot of bugs, and they have released 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.2a and now 1.3. That's how you build markets! Problem with X-games is off course that you don't have many customers. Something you will have with any Star Wars title and Kotor for certain. And if you let down a few customers when you don't have many...........

Haha...Don't let G0T0 broker your deals if your LS

Quiet all right actually this info. I never knew this. Next time I am on Dxun/Onderon I'll kill Bounty hunters with Goto in my party. Then I can claim a lot of DS points (I always like playing DS) -
Someone needs a break. No worries, I understand. For a movie, you need 3 years. For Kotor III, you also need three years. Lets see how many people have the patience of a Jedi knight. The Announcement!! Yes, it has to come that it ios going to be released Christmas 2007, I can live with that.

Well, I guess you would know... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good one. He? You are talking to yourself. I guess the Jedi masters are quiet ignorant aren't they: Some exampels: 1) Vrook said that Vandar went on the mission to Katarr even when Revan went DS (if Vandar died that is). 2) Kavar and Zez Kai Ell said that Atris went to Katarr with the others 3) All three of them thought that Kreia died in the Mandalorians Anyone can find more? Well maybe: 4) The Jedi council refuse to hear the Exile when he/she returned from the Mandalorian Wars. In stead they exile him/her 5) After you collect 3 journals from those who did "The Great Hunt" you could be in time to go to Dantooine but Deesra isn't even interested in them, no dialog option. 6) Vrook, Zez Kai Ell and Kavar try to cut the Exile off from the force, again they refuse to hear him/her and ignore the immidiate threat in Nihilus who would have been succesful in consuming all life on Telos had they cut of the Exile.

I have read your storyline JediPhile and maybe I ones posted that I somewhat disagree with it in the way you made this storyline proposal. Maybe let me know if you revised this storyline. In my revised storyline, it's been revised a lot actually I have quiet a few returning characters: 1) Revan 2) Bastila 3) Carth (LS Revan) or Cede (DS Revan) 4) HK-47 5) T3-M4 6) Master Bolook 7) Master Deesra Chodo Habat 9) Suvam Tan 10) The Exile 11) (I know you disagree) Master Vandar, no need to discuss it I guess. Our fathers at LA / Obsidian will decide his fate. 12) Atton Rand 13) Bao Dur 14) Xarga 15) Mandalore 16) Matton Dasol Well, quiet a few aint it. Most of them will just take up cameo appearances while only 4 of them will take up an NPC position during the main game. The End game is a bit different since some of them could end up being an NPC the last 1 or 2 game hours. What do you think?

quite possibly....my point is the devs are always choosing between flexibility and strength of story....sometimes it's OK to choose strength of story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. I also wouldn't be surprised if Dustil Onasi makes it in Kotor III. Perhaps even as a party member. You could kill him yes, but then T3-M4's hologram shows Carth if Revan was DS female and plays a dialogue in which you must have got the romance quest with Carth and that he did try to save DSF Revan which is only possible if you have let Dustil alive.

Force destruction is quiet an easy one to do. It can even be done with the current engine. I don't really remember much about Deadly sight but I do remember that there was a force power in there in which you could blind an enemy with the force. Now that's looks a good extra LS power. Blinding some enemies with the force. About Force Throw, I think that's the official name for it. I agree. That's one thing that at least cannot be stopped with Force Immunity. Okay, Force Barrier can protect you against that. But it would certainly be amusing to throw footlockers and plasteel cylinders toward your enemies.

What is your favorite Star Wars Movie?
hawk replied to Gray_Jedi_Knight's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I recently watched ROTS with my mother. She found it the worst movie of all the Star Wars movies. The reason was she isn't a true Star Wars fan like us, so she didn't understand a lot. Order 66, Uhm what is this actually? Who are the good guys, who are the bad? Okay, she understood Palpatine and Grievous were bad but the clonetroopers? Who are the Sith they talk about? She compared Palpatine with Hitler. Well, thats quiet a good comparison I think. And then all that fighting, fighting and more fighting. Then that very long battle between Anakin and Obiwan. She said, come on just stop. You could become friends again,,, :D Well. My vote went to Empire And, I off course understood everything in ROTS. -
It is in the wishlist for Kotor III. My vote goes to the little force sensitive race from Yoda, Yaddle, Vandar. Hey, why isn't this thread a poll. Would make it interesting.
