Force possession looks nice but it's pretty similar to Force confusion IMO. A must? Force throw! The ability to throw rocks, footlockers, plasteel cylinders etc. into your opponent(s). There will be no saves....

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to find raw materials and then construct your own: Robes Lightsabers all the other stuff you can build (like Kotor II) I found breaking down a grenade and then with the simple "components" create an expert deflection emitter for example just a very lame thing. Look at SW galaxies then!! Yes, not the best game but at least they will let you work and find (or buy) raw materials to convert them into an item which IMO is a far more realistic system then "make some life support packs from Thermal Detonators" Please don't take this the wrong way, I wouldn't like to see Kotor III as an MMORPG.

All short posts. My favourite one: YAVIN IV!!!! O, o, that's no planet. It's just a moon.

Star Wars Galaxies: A empire divided
hawk replied to dewaybe2678's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I guess they made it worse with that NGE didn't they. And now I don't know what is was before this NGE because I started playing this game after the NGE. Currently, I am doing Naboo and what I like about the game are: Huge levels. It really feels like you *are* on the planet. You can go everywhere you want with a swoopbike or speeder Customisation of your character. Define face, hairstyle, body, species everything. That's a real plus. I have read about different lightsaber hilts and thickness off the beam. That's pretty good. I started as a Jedi (obviously). Challenging. Each planet got different foes attuned to the most likely level of your character. You have quiet a battle to challenge 3 foes at once. No ending. You could at least go on forever. Go hunt Krayt Dargons for pearls I figure. Other then that, sorry to say but it is very unrealistic having to battle spawning enemies who spawn again each time in about 1 minute. And you pay quiet a bit of money for a game that got quiet some flaws. Crappy inventory system for example. And I could think of quiet a bit more but it's late and I quit writing for now -
I understand that you are upset but keep in mind that these people have to work through lots of spam each day and I think your or our e-mail will unfortunately not be treated as anything else (Spam). Other then that, why would Lego Star Wars be any good. I didn't really payed to much attention to it since the title put me of but maybe you could explain in a few short sentences why it's good.

Like in Kotor II when you were in Ludo Kressh's tomb as a LS character. Well, I didn't really liked the idea that your force points didn't regenerate because you were LS. I guess promoting Evil isn't the way a game should be build, or a movie for that matter. In Kotor I at least, LS was much more powerful. Force healing is one power you even would like to have when you are DS. It let you regenerate your vitality points easily and you could make perfect use of very good items like the Circlet of Saresh and the Qel Droma robe which grants you +7 wisdom together. And then we have Kotor II where the DS is much more powerful. It allows you to perfrom a Hssiss glitch to easily let you grant a high level with a lot of force powers when you can feel godlike. A Sith Marauder is much more powerful then a Jedi Weaponsmaster because of Fury and the Damage bonus for DS Mastery. Now, don't get me wrong. I like playing DS but promoting Evil which I think Obsidian has done with this isn't my idea. Maybe we could have a game which treats both sides a bit equally to satisfy everyone or promote LS again because it is of the course the right thing to do.

That would be very difficult to built into a game. Poison has this effect (lowers your attributes) and you could also be stunned which inhibit doing anything at all.

I recently finished Kotor I again and I must say that I liked to play it better then Kotor II. This is because I liked the Level 20 cap which means you do have to keep in mind about where you were going to place your Attributes / Skills / Feats and Force powers. It was a far more enjoyable experience, at least to me. It also wasn't as easy as it was in Kotor II to defeat your enemies. The Star forge was again a very good experience where you did need to use heal / wave or Stasis field etc. Much different then Kotor II where you could simply Master Speed and then hack through your foes where they don't stand a chance. They also didn't respawn. And now we get a lot of folks who want to be able to play as a non force sensitive to make it more challenging. My opinion would be that Kotor III as a Jedi should be more challenging then Kotor I. A Kotor III with an option to make a non jedi would be out of balance and then the Jedi game would be far to easy. Conclusion: Bring back the level 20 cap and make it more challenging.

What type of clothes do you like on your PC?
hawk replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The poll options on this topic are not very good are they? In Kotor I the Qel droma robe was good. In Kotor II there were several good one's: DS) Aleemo Keto Robe Crado's robe Dark Jedi robe (I like this one a lot better then the DJK Robe just because of its looks) LS) Ossus Keeper robe looks good (can be used DS but I don't like the image) Nomi's Robe -
We should ask Darth Jarize to give it to his fathers best friend! :D
-
I sincerely hope, Darth Jarize story isn't what it is going to be. First we think the Exile is dead, then he/she is alive and what frustrates me most is that apperantly both Revan and the Exile are LS. When Revan is DS, he would kill Yuthura Ban and Kel Algwinn. And even if Revan is LS, you don't know if Yuthura and Kel Algwinn would be alive. Also, if the Exile is DS, Mira would be dead and the others would certainly not be Jedi. No, if this story is true then I think I could make a better story then this!! Sure, I don't call you a liar Darth Jarize but if this is true then I think I would write a story, PM it to you and if you would then please give it to your dad's best friend it might give them some better idea's. Who made up this story anyway? A monkey?

There are reasons for it that they don't announce the game you know. It's because when you announce a game too early there are a lot of cr*** , ar******, id***, fo***** shareholders who are then going to demand things, that's what I read in a post of one of the devs on this forum. So yes, the thing is, Kotor III might be worked on right now but we wouldn't hear anything about it until it is close to the release date.

level to get good LS robes from Fassa
hawk replied to jedidotflow's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You nedd to be between Level 40 and 50. It can take a really long time before you get a good robe though. The best LS robes I think there is in the game is Nomi's robe. Thon's robe isn't really that good IMO. -
Revan vs Palaptine!
hawk replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Now, now, insulting people isn't exactlythe way to make a good conversation. Sure, in a game you could kill alot of enemies, deflect every single blaster bolt in your vision. The only a bit realistic Jedi game I have seen so far was I think the first one called Dark Forces Jedi Knight. It didn't allow you to automatically deflect a blaster bolt. It was a first person action game. The world didn't slow down around you when you accalerated to Force Speed. And you faced (with the exception of Gorc and Pic I believe they were called) 1 Dark Jedi each time. In the end you could kill the boss of the 7 Dark Jedi, Jerec. Anyone remember? I also thought quiet often that say the Ebon Hawk crew (doesn't really matter if it's Kotor I or II) could quiet easily overcome the droid assault on Geonosis don't you think. Imagine: Revan / Bastila / Juhani / Jolee all used Destroy droid against the army of battle droids. Canderous / Carth / Mission / HK-47 used Baragwin Ion-X guns or something against them while Zaalbar used his Bacca Ceremonial sword and T3-M4 used Ion blasters and Shield disruptors. Does the Kotor I crew need extraction from the clone army? I don't think so. Revan after the battle: "Hey Dooku, you want to do battle now. Thanks for the excercise." Revan thinks: "I need to level up, what am I now? Level 88?" More realistic: "4 Droideka's are no match for Revan!" -
That's what Carth says. It doesn't mean it's what happens. Anyway, I don't have anything against it to see Taris again but I think they wouldn't do a game with both Coruscant and Taris in one game and then I would vote for Coruscant.

For, if you kill masters and your LS, you dont get DS points, and then in the end you get force enlightenment i suppose, but then wouldnt you get a DS ending? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why doesn't anyone try it any longer? What you do with the Jedi masters is completely unimportant for which force power or ending you get. You can get LS mastery and kill all the 3 masters but you can also get DS mastery and don't kill any Jedi master. That's why Kotor II's alignment / ending is just wrong. At least in Kotor I it mattered what you choose on the Rakatan Temple. DS or LS. LS mastery / DS mastery or Neutral?

Kaiburr crystal gives you: Wisdom +3 Constitution +3 Regeneration +3 Other then that, the Kaiburr crystal is perhaps the most powerful crystal that can be used in a lightsaber. The Kaiburr gem bestows insight and fortitute upon it's owner. If that makes Luke powerful, then how powerful can the Exile become with his/her personal Crystal?

There is allready a tread like that: Here. Sending it to obsidian however: you could click the contact button and they will write this: *Please note: Regarding game and story submissions: We have a strict company policy explicitly forbidding us from accepting or even reading unsolicited material. We will not accept or even read unsolicited proposals, ideas, stories, or projects sent to us through any means. Seems they don't want any help from us. Bad thing I know but if they would allow it they will get spammed by fans with a 100 e-mails a day perhaps.

That's the DS Exxtremeeeeee Ending.
-
When you make a really good outline, you think twice about each thing you write. You also keep in mind a lot of factors. That's what The Architect and I are doing. My on topic response would be that you are not a new Jedi from Coruscant or a Dark Jedi from korriban or something ordinary like that. I think about it that way because who or whatever you are, your character is the most powerful force user at that time. The developers simply make you the most powerful one, period. In my story I am working on, you are a cloned jedi who is constructed by the Sith. I can tell more but since my story is in the works I don't think posting it now is a good thing. I can PM it to anyone who wish to read it off course.
-
Your alignment has everything to do with what ending you get. I ones had LS Mastery and killed all the masters and got the LS ending. I think I was a Light side Sith then...... I also ones killed, well almost everyone but not the masters and I got the DS ending. I haven't heard anyone about a Neutral ending though. I suppose it isn't there. I am going to do a neutral game next though and try to get exactly the same alignment as Kreia before the end game.

Top 10 favorite crystals.
hawk replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I only use a few crystals. I don't have a real top 10 I think: 1: Personal Crystal 2: Ankarres Sapphire 3: Opila 4: Kaiburr 5: Solari Colors: 1: Orange 2: Silver 3: Viridian 4: Blue 5: Violet Well, okay that's ten crystals then. -
In response to 2p1k3: It's okay if you want to have that kind of a game but it is far too complicated and they would never go for that kind of thing. Expect the game to be just as linear as Kotor I and II if it comes out.

Sorry to say this but I HATE Online games. You first have to buy the game from a store and then you could pay a whole lot more each month because you would like to play it. I once played online but I will not do it again!
