I have only played DS2, but aside from controls it really felt like a sequel.

After finishing it: Controls still feel bit weird. Interface is bit too much in the middle: map should be moved more towards the upper right corner, abilities and face should be moved more towards lower left corner and dialogue should be moved more down. Maps felt bit too "corridory".

Seemed to be a solid demo. More camera options would be nice. Controls seemed bit weird at first. Leveling was damn nice, good amount of choices to specialize your character.
