What lvl would you recommend for starting atton as a jedi? I usually let him lvl to 10 then save rest for Jedi. He was ok as a jedi but I was not impressed. I disagree with no bad party member statement. Goto was useless. We already had two droids and a third was unneeded, imho. I'd love wookies if they didn't take 5 minutes to say "hello". bah

Hmm...using any mods? If not might want to re-install. I've always got that cutscence without problem. Maybe someone else can help who has that problem. I know there are some glitches in the game, I was going crazy trying to get telos fuel and never could...bugged out. sigh

Seeing how Vrook is still a master, that didn't happen... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe Vrook was DS and could hide his anger from the other masters unlike atris...He was angry in k1, k2 he was downright evil.

Well you have to slog through both to get anywhere they are starter areas (not counting ender spire/t3 ebon hawk prologue. Someone said it correctly, peragus is repetitive. So much so I got a mod to get past that area. after you've seen 100 mining droids, there is no need to see a million more. Taris was much more interesting and held alot more choices of tasks with ds/ls hits..imho perhaps but there you have it.

Ah but Vrook had a *friendship* with the administrator of Khoonda. That seemed almost like she thought of him more than just a friend when she mentioned something about her friendship could bring problems. But we all know Vrook went DS in his heart anyhow so he doesn't care. Jolee, what a great character. He had the right of it. Jedi should be *human beings* and allowed to love, Jedi just need to be taught on the dangers, passion, hate etc., that could come from it. That's the whole problem on the Jedi masters, too distant from real life and interaction with others to understand anything.

I know what you mean and I agree. I only got atton once to say something about playing pazzark with me in my mind and I couldn't ever do it again. That's about as romantic as it got other than a comment about miners wearing underwear in the begining. Bah, Carth had much more to say and was fun to tease to boot although Canderous will always be my fav. I think there are alot of glitches in the game that may prevent things from happening. I never could get disciple, atton nor Bao Dur to tell me what happened at dxun, max influence or not. Disciple always said something like we'll discuss it at another time, but another time never happens in my games. After turning Bao to a jedi all I ever get is never mind, and I never could get Mira turned to Jedi. Probably because I do Nar next to last with Korriban being last. There are just too many places we are forced to A. Be someone else B. Take someone (or two someones) as party members that we don't want or the worse C. No party members at all (malachor). ugh that was boring... I do hope there is another Kotor to tie it all up but hope they do things a bit less Kotor2ish like the things I mentioned above, no dialogue after a point, glitched dialogue that never happens and our own choices for party members when possible. One more thing I forgot... I don't know if this is the way it's supposed to happen but in all of my games it really blew immersion...Getting saved on goto's ship. No matter who I had in the rescue party none of them said anything when they found me. My own character said zip as well. Not even a simple glad you found me..thx for rescuing me...nothing. Bad form imho.

I don't think it should be flushed, but agree with some of your points. It would be nice if you could do the influence and still backstory in lvlups. Another thing about influence, is turning ls member's dark/dark members light is they still talk the way they were designed from the getgo. Nothing you do really matters anyhow...oh well

31. What did Kreia mean when she told Hanharr, "but first I must prepare you for what is to come" ? What preparation was there besides getting the beast to Malachor? I'm guessing hanharr was supposed to kill any remaining party members including Mira on MalV no matter if one if LS/DS. 42. On rescuing the Exile from GOTO's yacht, why was nothing said? There should have been some expression of gratitude or at least an acknowledgement like we saw when Zalbaar was rescued near the beginning of KotOR. I agree there! I think I got a lightsaber part. 51. How did powering up the Mass Shadow Generator "undo" the damage caused by the Mass Shadow Generator? Destroying Malachor V was better than leaving it as-is. Too much negative/DS energy I'm guessing plus Bao-dur and the Exile suspected the sith academy was there. Too often the player is given too little time to read long subtitles. Conversely, Visqis was speaking for 5 - 10 seconds when all he was saying was "Mira!!" You complaining about him? I always tried not to talk to any wookies as much as possible in K1 and 2. I mean it takes them 5 minutes to say very well. lol Meeting the apparition of Kreia and party members in the Korriban tomb cycles endlessly if you side with Kreia. It happens three times. I have no idea if thats a bug or intended to let you try other "choices".

More than that...Canderous/Jolee had 3 together just on Korriban. All three of those were hilarious too... Jolee threatens to spank Canderous...Canderous threatens to wring Jolee's neck. lol If I had a say on K3; I would like party member discussions with the pc to go back to lvl up so we can learn about our party members/story. Add inter-party banter from K1 plus cutscence on ship party banter of K2. Also if the influence remains it needs to be revamped. A lighsider party member once influenced dark should think and act dark (perhpas question why at first but then click into place). But I think that would be a nightmare to script/program for so lets not go there. lol

If you could talk to your people more in 2, and adventure with them more I would have said both. Of course if 2 had a Canderous romance it would have won. lol

Mission said part of the reason she came along was to look for her brother...that and sticking to Zalbaar like glue since they were best friends. Canderous said traveling with Revan he may finally find opponents worth fighting again. Jolee says he saw the destiny we had before us and didn't want to pass up the chance of a lifetime (in his case twice in a lifetime) to see where it would lead. Master Vandar assigned the whole crew from taris to aid you along with Bastila and Juhani (If you saved her). That includes Carth. Did I miss anything? Cheers, FD
