  1. In PoE wizards in low level are actually more useful than other similar games, as other pointed out. They're more like sorcerers than wizards. Plus, if you're playing with a team then u won't spend a fireball on every small bandit, in my own experience i never had a problem of backtracking to inn so i can sleep so my wizard can pew pew more fireballs.
  2. Agreed, modern 3D games have faster loading times and even instant quick saves, i hope they'll improve this with patches
  3. "STOP TOUCHING MEEEEEEE!!!" - Xzar

  4. It was stuck at 9 turns, even after completing couple quests it didnt show any progression, but after completing another quest it actually finished, so im pretty sure just the progression didn't show.
  5. I like my paladin! although i'd agree many of his abilities are somewhat useless, in the level up screen i keep pondering which is the LEAST bad trait i should take, while when i level the warrior i see so many good traits i keep thinking which trait is the least GOOD one because they're all good :D
  6. Do you have the stronghold ? maybe they just level in there ? I left my rogue at level 4 and now hes level 5.
  7. That's good to know. Do they level up if they are not on your current roster or fall behind? They do level up, in the keep, but im still in the begining of the game so i cant tell how fast/slow/similar their XP gain is when they're waiting in the keep
  8. Do you steal in the game ? Like those little chests with the red hand over them, trying to sneak so u could take whats inside even though u know it belong to someone else ?
  9. oh, im zooming in alright. gave me an idea - toggle big-heads !!!!! thank you josh sawyer :D
  10. If im not wrong, any additional character reduce experience gain by 5% or something of the sort, but I wouldn't care too much about it really, the game built in a way that there is enough experience for you to gain and to be honest im killing drake with his minion army with level 5 party so yeah, go for it, take another character and just have fun Also, when you put your extra companions in your keep i think they wont "steal" your XP but they'll still level up (maybe slower ? not sure). Another thing to note is when you meet companions for the first time they'll be about your level, so you don't wanna be TOO experienced or you won't be able to chose their traits
  11. I totally agree, I thought they'd have more serious conversation between each other and I was really looking forward to it. Still you can speak to them yourself and they do have rich text binded to them, so they are not blant so im happy
  12. Except the option to pass time (which can be somewhat avoided by traveling to distant places), those things are mostly cosmetic and Obsidian had a lot on their mind so those things, i suppose, were secondary, and might come in future patch
  13. For me the experience was very smooth and intuitive so I guess it IS a bug. Try changing instances, see if they say "you must gather your party before adventuring forth" ?
  14. Exactly lol, i noticed thers the health bar but its still hard to detect whose that, and i need to both get my face close to the screen and also click on the portrait that i think this guy is to see for sure if its him. So yeah, not very easy and comfortable :D
  15. uhm .... athletics and such DO carry over, at least from my experience.
  16. Agreed, at last a game that actually requires tactic
  17. Is this a problem only I have ? When 2 of my guys engage like 4 enemy it seems pretty hard to both see which character i pick (when in pause mode ofc), and then to also tell them whom to attack ! They all just clutter together and no clear indication of who I currently have picked. I can't really explain this but its not as easy as it was in BG for example, or maybe its just me ?
  18. I think the right place to put a complaint about it is with Obsidian support, not here, since they're the only one who can decide what to do with it and I dont think they reply to forums. Also take note that not many people actually read those things anyway
  19. I agree, this is one thing DA got it right. OP - u can also try building your characters with passive skills, so u dont have to micromanage too much. You can also create a lvl 1 priest or whatever it is, and learn his skills slowly, or just skip a priest (or whatever character that gives u problem) and create your own henchman :D
  20. They didn't call it strength for a reason
  21. I wasn't a fan of "ultimate weapon" and "best weapon choice" that i had to google when I wanted to create my beserker/cleric on BG. PoE made it easier by allowing you to build your character the way you want. Heck, if I find a dagger that is better than my flail I might just as well use the dagger and enchant it further to see how it works! You call it blant, I call it genious, thank you Obsidian!!
  22. I agree. I think the crafting system is fine, and if PrimeJunta says for SOME crafting you need a legendarty blacksmith then way to go, I think its perfect
  23. SPOILERS AHEAD I can speak to Durance about him helping creating the godhammer, and I do this anywhere, i my case, while in town, i just initiate a conversation and speak to him about multiple things and thats one of the things he say. After hours later, I go to sleep, and I wake up to a vision of him holding the staff and light eminating from it, and after speaking with him about it he "reveal" to me he helped shape the godhammer. And my response is - "You helped build the Godahmmer?" Which I already know he did ... maybe its a bug that I shouldn't be able to speak to him about it before I get this scene.
