  1. am i the only one that didnt think juhani was that bad? (in terms of character, not "looks")
  2. so thats 50% of the copies of the games youve seen that have bugs, and that bug was a major one. yet you contend that its not one of the buggier games. id say a 50% failure rate is a pretty high percentage. *note: i know im using a small sample size, but since your original point about it not being buggy is because you didnt run in to them (ie. a small sample size), its just as valid*
  3. has there been a dev post in here since the xbox version was released?
  4. maybe deep down she liked the abuse.
  5. sega genesis era. thats where i had most of my console games and when my computer could actually handle the majority of the games on the market. now, my computer (well, my roommates) is low end and thus only the low end spec games can work on this comp. also, the games on the consoles dont intrigue me as much.
  6. some interesting stuff in that interview. i especially agree with his views on what crpgs need to implement more of, mainly your actions having real consequences with both people and towns/cities/places you visit.
  7. yeah canderous wasnt really fleshed out this time. although something tells me that part of the reason was the rushed release of the game. i think that, based on some elements, canderous was supposed to have a bigger part to play, especially with his "sidequests" of reuniting the mandalorian tribes on the different worlds. maybe if the game was given more development time we would have seen more of this and it would have been a more important part of the story, plus open up a lot more dialogue with canderous about this.
  8. and has anyone got it yet? if so, first impressions? edit: i thought today was the 8th. ignore this thread until tomorrow. :">
  9. Nope you have to go through it on your own. Mira follows you if your lightside but the exile isn't aware she is following him. And remote also goes through his own little mission while on the planet but all three are seporate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> one of the reasons why im torn between whether i like malachor or the star forge better. atleast on the star forge you could bring a couple of party members, and canderous gives his "heartwarming" speech about being by your side no matter what. in kotor2, once you reach malachor your party members are no longer a part of the story (in terms of what the exile sees and interacts with).
  10. because youre the be all and end all authority on whether a game is buggy or not huh? <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Self proclaimed authority... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i just dont get why people bother to state that a game was not buggy because they didnt experience any. ive acknowledged that kotor2 has a vast amount of bugs even though i, personally, never ran in to any gamestoppers. people just come off as sounding stupid when their only proof that a game isnt buggy and that countless number of people are wrong just because they didnt experience any bugs.
  11. other. id like to see the enemy ai become a lot smarter, and id like to see the pc and party become less powerful.
  12. because youre the be all and end all authority on whether a game is buggy or not huh? <_<
  13. from the moment you land on malachor. for me, thats when the story ended and the "endless fighting" began. it had a bit more story elements than kotor1 on the star forge, but basically was very similar in that you knew the end was coming and all that remained was fighting an endless parade of bad guys until you got to the end boss.
  14. thats what made me confused. the issue is in the same series as stuff that deals with vader, or events surrounding the empire or luke and such.
  15. am i the only one that didnt understand the path of logic the original poster was using and what he was trying to get at?
  16. i didnt notice that. but regardless, she'll always have her hood and little veil on.
  17. btw, i didnt specify which version of those series because a)i cant remember which years versions i enjoyed most and b)most were too similar to even differentiate.
  18. as far as i can recall, no you cant. i believe its just handmaiden/disciple, atton, mira and bao-dur that can change appearance in terms of what they wear. i dont think you can even remove mandalores armor. you can equip visas and kreia with different robes, but in game they just have their original clothes on, whereas manadalore cant be changed.
  19. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> haha oh man that actually still cracks me up when i think about it. *40% of this forumers total posts are spam and we decided to delete it* haha just kidding!
  20. but you probably dont get any funding if you do that. so while you make money IF the game is a success, you run the risk at the beginning and during the development process of running out of funds.
  21. They apparently killed a lot of posts with the restructuring (I noticed this as well) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> or they just think the majority of your posts are spam and delete them.
  22. my all time favs tend to be games that i play repeatedly, which means that sports games rank high since they give you the ability to play game after game, season after season as your main priority. in terms of time ive spent playing games over and over my top ten would look like: 1-ootp baseball 2-sega genesis hockey series 3-madden football series 4-nba live series 5-neverwinter night (the whole package, including expansions & user created modules) 6-kotor1 7-kotor2 8-fallout2 9-fallout1 10-baldurs gate 1
