Movies you have seen recently
Saw Die Hard 4.0 Over the top, comic book realism, plot holes that could sink the titanic and enough cliches to build a wall of them from Adelaide to Melbourne (exaggerated for effect). Oh yeah, and an incredibly fun film to watch too

Girls
And on that incredibly tasteless note, we seem to have reached the end...

What you did today
Sorry, I was off to a bad start on the new year too where germs are concerned.

What are you playing now?
The thing that bothers me most in ToB is the combat. The rest isn't so bad and it was nice getting an ending to the story. But the sheer feeling of inflation of values when peasants are armed with Pitchfork +3 and priceless gems are strewn about, it hurts the "immersion". Highlevel campaigning is just not my thing. Mask of the Betrayer suffers a bit from the same things despite having many other good features (IMNSHO).

Yahtzee reviews
I like his little "blurb" at the end... "It's a shame I'm not reviewing Killzone 'cos I'm trying to end up with a review for every letter in the alphabet and I haven't got a K yet" "I've got eight S's, stop making games beginning with S you ****s"

Ok, now my desktop won't boot to XP!
Isn't there some point in the "Repair" process where it offers you to log in and authenticate yourself? I seem to remember having used that to save documents from a disk with bad blocks. It sucks having to use the dos prompt though, navigating through C:\DOCU~1 etc.

What are you playing now?
Still playing BG2. Finished BG2 proper and brought my party into ToB. Sighing deeply I quit the game in disgust, since I just can't bring myself to play this ridiculous part of the game Examined some of my old games of Europa Universalis III. A fairly fresh game of playing Muscowy or an old game of being the Byzantine Empire. Funny situation in the latter... the Kingdom of Quebec is under pressure from the Empire of Haiti, being completely surrounded and outnumbered. Don't ask me how that came to be.

Does this remind you of something?
There was/is still a lot of those. About as entertaining as "infomercials" Zoids, Power Rangers, you name them. All aimed at disposable income. I did watch a lot of those old TV series on and off in my younger days, Knight Rider, Space 1999, MASH 4077, I dream of Jeannie, Blakes 7, Macgyver, The Avengers, The Persuaders plus a bunch of German stuff that is probably not known in English speaking countries.

Need a crash course on new PC hardware.....
Probably the best starting point, what is your budget and is there anything you can salvage/reuse from your old system. Do you intend complete instant replacement or can you build it over time and spread the costs (I usually do the latter)?

Software RAID 0
Isn't the only soft RAID 0 you can do in Windows a striped volume in the Disk Management Console? I think for the rest, you need hardware specific software/drivers for your controller(s). Too long since I played around with that stuff on my home pc

Chinese step up activity
The article didn't mention anything about which part of the chinese coast the ship was spying on. They could return the favour and send chinese navy vessels withinn 125 miles of the US coast for a bit of snooping and see if the favour was returned

Chris Taylor leading the Fallout MMO project
You are going to join the uncountable legions of the BOS and fight the endless hordes of Super Mutants of course

What are you playing now?
Baldurs Gate 2. Just made my way out of the Underdark and started gathering allies. Still need to get the wayward bard from his planar prison and see if I can't kick Kangaxx' butt (not that a floating skull really has one) before heading for Suldanessellar (sp?). I plan to take my party to the end of Throne of Bhaal... it's just that, high level play is SOO horribly boring

High CPU Usage...going VERY SLOW!
Which process does your task manager say takes all the cpu time?

Girls
What did you do, kill her Norwegian Blue? I am not exactly an expert on girls, but I have noticed that they seem to have this deep seated need for constant communication. Quite frustrating really, as it makes them hard to work together with. They want to communicate, I switch off my phone, they get angry...

Boys
I guess that is what was to be expected when leaving it to the boys to keep the place clean. Spam everywhere

Phew! Asteroid's passing was a cosmic near-miss
I don't know why, but being hit by big rocks reminds me of Life of Brian for some reason...

TSLRP 1.0b8 Question
I think you meant for the title to be TSL? TSLRP is a mod that has been worked on for a few years, making it one of the oldest active subjects. Exactly what lightsaber training are we talking about? As far as I remember, nobody will do any lightsaber training? You can do sparring with Handmaiden and Kreia can tell you more about the Force. Maybe somebody else have more input...

Attention, God hates The Netherlands
I always got the impression that God was all justice and no mercy, whereas Jesus was all about mercy and compassion. Now, as to what the supposedly followers of the latter has decided to do with that doctrine...

What you did today
you might wanna get that seen to Maybe it was a Highwayman, not a Buick? It is mostly work these days. Enjoyed the first real raindrops to fall in my garden since November this morning. Made for a very warm and humid day. Not enough rain to save the sad remnants of my garden though, so here is crossing fingers and hoping for a severe rain storm or two, that would be nice
