The ubiquitous huntsman spider (picture found on the internet), present everywhere, including indoors occasionally. It's quite flexible and can "twist" its legs so it flattens itself completely and can get through even very narrow cracks. Harmless for humans, although they can get quite big.

Depends a bit on the size of the thing. I've had huntsmen spiders that would leave large splotch marks running down the wall if confronted with big shoes. In those cases, violence it not an option. Chemical warfare is however. Redbacks, funnel spiders etc. you just try to avoid wrestling matches and use long pole arms where possible. Outdoors however, they don't bother me. I can stand a stare at the beauty of the critters and their sometimes meter high/wide webs for several moments.

You should try living in Australia... Some states are GMT+9:30 some GMT+10. Easy enough. Except some of them have daylight savings and some don't. Part of the yaer, you'll be either half an hour ahead or behind of the rest, without actually going anywhere For a fun experience (been there, tried it a couple of times), fly from Auckland to Los Angeles. Taking off at 18:00 and after 10-12 hours of flight, you'll land at 16:00 the same day. Talk about time travel

After 24 hours in a new place, I'd added 30, then I gave up and disabled general chat. The inanities were just painful At least the lag wasn't as bad as feared, only 3-5 times higher. I tried creating a test character on an east coast and one on a European server and it jumped from 48 ms to 700-800 ms. Not good. West coast servers it is

It's been a long weekend in Australia, so I finally got around to put some "serious" time into SWTor. 'Gorth' the bounty hunter is now level 35. Of course, 'Gorth' is soon to be 'Ex-Gorth' because of the forced server account migrations and some low-life, upstart gorth-wannabe is hogging the name on the server my character is destined for >_ I checked the other possible alternative server, but that was a no go too. No idea what I'm going to call myself. My character(s) have always been 'Gorth' the last 30 years.

Things flying straight towards you may appear "stationary" at high altitude. If you're lucky it will burn up or do a "curve ball" away from your position in case it reaches the lower atmosphere. They probably feel morally obliged to support the Syrian government in their "War against Terror" ® As for funding... Neither Iran nor the AQ "store front" backers are particular short of money. In short, geopolitics in a messy situation without borders and criss-crossing alliances. Edit to add: It seems a bit comparable to US - Pakistani relations, which are a marriage of convenience, not one of love.

A good point, why build a gaming PC? Maybe that's why consoles are so popular, they require less effort to set up and get running. I don't have a console, but I use my PC for occasionally significant workloads, so I build them to work hard. Not the biggest and most expensive of each component (because you pay like 100% for the last 15% gain), but the second best of each. Lasts me 4-5 years. That it also happens to be a good gaming machine is a significant fringe benefit, but not the main objective.

Agreed. I consider RPGs my favourite genre, but I sink more time into strategy games due to their more open ended nature. Exactly. If two campaigns play out the same way in a game, your doing it wrong

If you backed (couldn't for Steam) you can get a free Steam key by just PM'ing them on their Kickstarter page with your Steam handle.Nice, huh? Although from what I hear the Steam version is the most instable of them all, so you might want to use the platform you originally chose it for till it's patched Of the available options, I would prefer GoG (backed it with $100, not sure what that entitles me to, but I started downloading the digital goodies from the urls in the email)

Nothing new... Started a game as Muscovy in EUIII (with latest patches) and continuing the adventures of 'Gorth' the Bounty hunter in SWTor (now level 30). Then I read about the imminent server merges and am going to be royally pissed off if I get forced to rename my character (not to mention nightmare visions of excessive ping times). *Grumble*

I knew there was something I had forgotten I did see the email last week. Just didn't get around to get it sorted out, because I no longer remember what options I chose along the way (i.e. steam, gog, desura etc.). Better get it done today and get something for my pledge
