  1. Now that there's no longer a PC version forum... where did all the topics there go?
  2. Makes me wish Bush and Blair were Black! Not really a video but... http://www.mingthemerciless.com/black_hitler.html ^_^
  3. 'Boo urns' IIRC. a.k.a. SPAM Man, do I love those tags. ^_^
  4. For once, you hit the nail on the head.
  5. I don't get it. It says 23 days 'til release but everyone seems to have it already? WTF?
  6. Ok. After much thought I have finally come to the conclusion that it wouldn't work. Why? Because it would outright suck. )
  7. Yeah, that would be great. Take away one of the few RPG elements that the game still has. I guess you could add this option to pick dialogue options for you, too. And perhaps you could even throw in an AI script for the PC & friends in which you just press the 'kick butt' button and the AI takes over from there. That way you could even play the game while you're at school, or even sleeping. Yeah, that would be great.
  8. Gizka NPC, anyone? "
  9. I think somebody said that difficulty sliders only affected skill checks and not the actual difficulty of combat?
  10. Uh... when a thread is dead you don't delete it, you know. You leave it there so people can read it at a later time...
  11. You deleted the last one just to start over?
  12. It's not the smartest thing to do to attack somebody else's spelling unless your own is flawless. And even so...
  13. The level cap is set at 50.
  14. It *poof!* vanished. Some dumbass was posting spoilers like there was no tomorrow.
  15. That is a lie, plain and simple. If you can't afford to pay you won't even get them to fix you a broken arm. Health care in the US is perhaps of an excellent quality, but only for those who can pay for it. Medical attention should never be a means to earn money, period. False. If there is an abundance of workers in your field, you get fired. However, workers are not a commodity you can dispose of like spoiled fruit. False, again. Why do you make things up? This proves you wrong.
  16. That's an oxymoron.
  17. This has been admitted by the devs themselves, albeit not explicitly: That's what happens when the devs act against their better judgement.
  18. Well, that sums it up. Their aim was to kill the whole point of playing. It seems there is no difference between watching somebody beat the game and beat it yourself. Sad, this.
  19. Heh, the latter actually. I love the concept of cinematic game storytelling That clears it up. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I like interactive movies from time to time, too. But what I don't like is to be sold one, while being told it actually requires some effort on my part. Well, that's what games are all about. Think about it. Each time you play poker, or chess or whatever game you like with new people, you don't really know who's going to win. That's the whole point of playing. I don't know about you, but once I begin to own my friends at a certain game, it loses its appeal, fast. That's true. But CRPGs and PnP RPGs can't really have the same pacing. In the PnP, depending on the size of a battle, it can last from a few minutes to... real long. In CRPGs, the largest, hardest battles seldom last more than ten minutes. I don't want to have exactly the same pacing as in the PnP. However, having balanced rules and an actually competent AI which reacts just as any GM controlled NPC would, can make wonders about making the game both challenging and fun.
  20. I would. No. In the PnP you just die and start over if you feel like it. Unless you play with wimpy GMs which would never, god forbid, kill you. This has been discussed before. What do you want, a video game or a freaking interactive movie?
