Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This is a silly discussion. PoE is in no way more wizard centric then BG II. It's not even comparable. Wizards are strong in PoE, as they should be, and you can run through BG II without any. But to draw such a conclusion is really weird to me. Especially after years of rage about weak wizards in PoE from grognards all over the internet.

Unforgivable Sins of Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to gristlethick's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)You see buddy, when you're so aggresive and dramatic, it really puts off the desire from people to take you seriously or have a constructive conversation. You might have some valid points in there, but honestly.. Most people just skip posts with such rethorics and laugh. With strong and well argued accusations like "8. Main Story Interactions" you're ironicly damaging your own case, just like you claim Obsidian is damaging their game. Grow up buddy. Do you go to the tanning salon? Never, that stuff is really unhealthy. Why do you ask? Because you disagree with my post?

TheisEjsing replied to Enoch's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I like how the special kids on the forum straight out denied any chance of another PoE cuz of the "terrbile" sales of PoE II. "As for Pillars of Eternity 3, we always have things in the works and lots of ideas for things we could do with a Pillars 3." - Adler- Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Next up. GTA got more cars than deadfire! thread!- Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)- Oghren - Leliana (factoring her appearance in the subsequent games) - Morrigan (same as Leliana) - Alistair, kinda but only if you make him king. - Isabella, especially with Aveline - Aveline, especially with Isabella - Anders - Solas - Iron Bull - Vivienne - Sera - Mordin - Morinth (soft spot for her) - Tali You forgot best boy! ^_^- Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire

TheisEjsing replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Dota is probably the game that makes most revenue up to TI of all games tho.- Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I hope you're joking? Mask of the Betrayer, Heart of Stone, Blood and Wine, and The Citadel DLC among others, are all miles ahead of ToB. ToB is at best a mediocre fix you need for more BG II action, after the main game is over.- Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Kangaxx really flew over my head the first time I played. I had viconia with Crom faeyr in my party and he attacked her, which she resisted all day, while killing him in a few rounds. So I first found out that he was a gimmick boss the second time around, when he wiped me good. ^_^- Baldur's Gate 2 > PoE 2 Deadfire
TheisEjsing replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm gonna tell you about it anyways, because it is in parts about nostalgia. If you replay Baldurs Gate II now, the dialog is often really cringe worthy. And descriptions and mechanics aren't up to par for this age. I disagree on all counts. BG2's writing is solid and entertaining—very often funny—as are its mechanics. Not sure what you mean by "descriptions", but if you mean that grey descriptive text in PoE, then I'm glad for its absence in BG2 as it's all just redundant text. I'd turn it off in PoE if I could. Less is more. I don't care about the wrinkles some character has on their face. BG2 also has amazing companions and companion interactions. By the way, no nostalgia: I played for the first time in 2012. What a wonderful world we got, where we are allowed to disagree.
I look at BG II with rose tinted glasses, because it might be my favorite game of all time. But I was 20 years younger back then, and I was more excitable and knew a lot less about most things. Personally, I find it impossible for games now in my early thirties, with all the games I have played by now, to replicate the feelings I got when I played Baldur's Gate II the first time, thou I admit Twitcher 3 did a grand job of trying. But if I played BG II for the first time now, it wouldn't be nearly as good or impactful for me, as it was then. You may like BG II more, but that is not objective. I like PoE's mature and complex writing much more now, than I like the immature, D&D trope style writing from BG II. So don't discard nostalgia like that, because it does play a significant role in your perception of games you play now.- And ... Another Free Dlc Guys

Cyberpunk looks like future GTA V. If CRPR's TW3 level of quality is kept in this game, it's gonna be freaking fantastic, no doubt! A softcore mmo'ish Fallout game... How sad. Not gonna touch that. But then again 77>76- UMM! You forgot something, Mirke...
TheisEjsing replied to fortuntek's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)In my humble experience, I find that drunk girls are easier to romance than sober ones. ^_^ you mean laid... Is that not the same thing. :D No judgments But person who drunk by law not allowed to drive because the law defines they're not able to make rational decisions. So therefore your in position of power and are abusing that situation by trying to bed a drunk person. Which is similar to Weinstein misuse of power. Maybe admitting it on forum could lead to lot of negative comments. I'm not abusing anything. I'm almost always way more drunk than the girls I bang. And negative comments why? Maybe it's a culture thing. In Denmark most people meet by getting drunk together in bars and clubs. I did say wasn't judging. Every situation is different and without all facts I can't judge. I only wrote it as warning as current climate with metoo and other things can be easy for some start judging without all facts and for flame wars start., If read my other comment did say mirke romance could be interesting story line but could be very dangerous for obsidian for same reasons. Especially as games often seen as male dominate thing. There is a big difference however. Metoo victims are real people, who experienced real violation and trauma. If you romance a drunk fictive figure, it's not an issue at all. You kill 100's of people in PoE II. But romancing a drunk chick, that's where the moral line must be drawn? That's insanity. It's just fiction... - Beast of Winter Interview(s?) with BAdler
