Wow, that's quite a bitter take on life. On the side, my daughter's new favorite word is delicious, and she runs around shouting Super Skylar and calling me Super Daddy. I guess my life is officially over. I'm really hoping for another update from sluggo soon. It's a fairly fascinating evolution watching him become a lady's man.

That was about the only funny thing in Year One the movie. And as funny as it is, I don't know if it is four year old dead corpse revival funny.

That reminds me, I got my hospital bill the other day. For my lovely two night stay, the bill was $75,000. Luckily I have double health coverage. The ambulance ride was $1700.

That was definitely an epic hockey game. The one silver (get it?) lining for the US team is they were the youngest team in the tourney, and they will be able to keep that core together for at least a couple more Olympics.

I got on the ice this morning for the first time since my injury. The leg held up, but it still is tender and swollen. Hopefully I can play a game in a couple weeks, today was just a practice.

I picked up a few books yesterday- 1- the new Willie Mays book 2-the second Dragon Age book 3- book 4 of Gail Martin's Summoner series, a solid fantasy read

Zombieland - fun movie. I felt it lost steam a bit towards the end, but the beginning was fairly brilliant. Definitely a solid zombie experience.

The US basically shut it down after the first period. Finland managed a little pressure, but it would have been very difficult to get more than a few goals with the US playing a defensive game. Now just waiting for the Canada-Slovakia game. I'm rooting for Canada, but hesitantly. I think if we get a US-Canada rematch, it will be much more difficult for the US to pull off another win.

I try not to compare video game worlds to real worlds.

I wasn't expecting the US to make it look so easy. I think it's a good confidence builder for the last game. They've had mostly tight games so far, so showing they can put the screws to someone shouldn't hurt. What a difference from the Switzerland game, yeesh.

I didn't dig MotB all that much either, but I think it was more my general apathy for D&D and this setting in particular. I'm just burnt out on it, I played NWN1 and 2 a ton and when I got to MotB it was just a chore to deal with the whole system. Plus I hate D&D after about level 12.

Got the droid, so far it's really slick. I have a lot to learn, it is my first smartphone. I love the GPS device, that alone was worth a good chunk of the price.

Wait a sec Boo, you put 40 hours or so into the game and you don't consider it worth your money? I think you place too little value on your time. Personally if a game keeps me interested for more than a few hours, I consider it worth the price.

I actually spent the entire game thinking Miranda arranged the whole initial robot intro thing. She pulled the trigger on that doctor guy pretty quick. It makes sense that she wanted to test Sheppard. She didn't strike me as the type to have a problem sacrificing the entire team for a training exercise.

Loghain faced some pretty huge odds in the DA book and still charged ahead, so if they are maintaining the character, it doesn't fit that he just withdrew strategically. I think the King boinking an Orlais chick is a much bigger motivator, as Loghain had very good reason to hate all Orlesians.
