Thanks, it's hard to argue with that price considering the more professional art ones are much more expensive. I think I'll look at getting it, even if it doesn't work out for the comic I can see me finding a use for it in my classroom. Given that I don't plan on trying to make money off this, I'm leaning towards just using a blog, as the learning curve for hosting and creating my own site is a bit daunting. Plus the costs aren't bad, but most blog hosts are free.

How about ideas on tablets? I see the Bamboo Pen by Wacom is a reasonable $70. It doesn't need to be too fancy.

Thanks TN, I'm taking a look at comicpress and wordpress now. I'm fairly ignorant on website creation though, so looks like there is a bit of a learning curve. I'm also thinking about just setting it up as a blog site, so any advice people have about those would be great.

You just need to go get on a treadmill buddy. Get a few positive endorphins going and I think you will feel right as rain. It is also the end of winter, so keep in mind the seasonal ups and downs. Hang in there. I think Walsingham should make a trip out to Iowa and run a Hades Boot Camp, and then post video clips.

Let's not forget the killing of kids (or anyone) in Fallout was cartoonish and silly. Personally I wouldn't play a game that presented death in a realistic manner, with blood curdling screams and all that.

I've been creating little comics about my classroom life for awhile now. I have no artistic talent, so they were just rough little boxes with odd and humorous things said and done in my class. Well, a very artistically talented student has started to turn them into actual comic strips, and I was thinking about putting them up somewhere. Anyone have any good suggestions for hosting a webcomic? I also am concerned about the best way to transfer them from paper to digital media.

Best Buy doesn't tend to keep up with minutiae like pre-order bonuses. Chances are if Sega confirms that the stealth pack will be in it at Best Buy, then all copies shipped to Best Buy will just have the card in it. Of course, Sega seems to be having a few issues on the publisher side, so I wouldn't hold my breath for anything at this point.

Not to mention the main goal in Afghanistan is to eventually develop local forces to handle all conflicts. We can definitely debate how effective that has been, but given the costs involved in maintaining a military presence, it is hard to imagine a better option.

A child is not a race or religion, it is a vulnerable age group and it isn't any form of 'ism' to feel more protective of them than an adult. Is your emotional response to violence truly identical no matter the age of the victim? I find that hard to believe. Seconded. Thankfully the entire field of law also disagrees with Volourn, as crimes against children carry much stiffer punishments than crimes against adults.

I think the latest rumours were more about GM Sutter being fired, rather than Coach Sutter. I imagine the two would go hand in hand. Still seems like a bit quick on the gun, it's a competitive squad that barely missed the post-season. Given that they made a few big trades recently, I would think they would give it another season before a wholesale housecleaning.

Trading Iginla would be fairly insane, but who knows? He needs a good center. Maybe the Bruins could make a move for him, Savard would be a nice setup man for him if he can stay healthy next year.

I agree with Dogmeat, the closest comparison would be a game about brutally killing kids. It's just tasteless and disturbing, I'm surprised how many people are defending it.

I'll be honest, this Toby guy seems like a total douche. Aside from the picture, which removes all doubt of douchiness, the whole situation smacks of a guy throwing a tantrum because he lost his job. He's not a journalist, by the way. He never was. Zoo Weekly looks more like a weak ripoff of Maxim.
