Well, hockey is one of the few sports that has a ton of amateur adult leagues to play in. When you start missing the sport, I hope you'll look into joining a beer league. There are also a lot of tourneys out there for amateurs. You can basically play hockey up until the day you die, if you want to, and that is one of the reasons I love it. I actually look forward to joining the over-35 league in a few years, and we even have an active over-50 league at our rink. So I get not wanting to have it take over your life in college, but I hope you haven't lost all your passion for it. I took a few breaks from hockey when I was in college myself, it's an expensive hobby. Usually I'd get about 6 months in and then I'd be dying to get back on the ice. edit: Today I was grading card game projects for my students, and while they played the game, I looked up the websites they created for the games on my Droid phone. That way I was able to grade both the physical game and the web pages at the same time without lugging my laptop around. It was awesome.

Now you have video of the event and you have a group claiming credit for the event. I can understand him going after the War on Terror and all that, as it hasn't been all that effective at wiping out Al Queda, but this is fairly delusional stuff, up there with his Holocaust stance. The really disturbing part is you have a highly placed politician feeding bold faced lies to his entire country. The US has a lot of misinformation floating around, but if a president was this delusional he'd be impeached in a day.

It is really buggy though, I've had it lock up a few times when my connection was on the fritz.

Mao is responsible for the emancipation of the Chinese people from Japanese imperialism and Nationalist military dictatorship. Stalin is responsible for mass industrialization and victory in the Second World War. Their successes outweigh their "crimes." Even if you were to subscribe to a Machiavellian philosophy, that doesn't make much sense. If the deaths are what led to Chinese emancipation or Russian Industrialization, then you might have an argument for the means justifying the end. As it stands, both Mao and Stalin did a tremendous amount of damage to their countries at the end of their lives with no clear justification.

I hope so. It would be a shame if anyone was able to pirate it.

I bought the Orange Box and I don't remember having to patch it to get it to work. That being said, I'd probably avoid using Steam if I was on dialup.

I'm not sure where LoF gets the idea everyone hates socialism here. Even the US, which is more resistant to socialist ideals than Europe, still has programs like welfare. Now when you jump on the communist train and start choo chooing, that's usually when you get the collective raised eyebrows.

Yeah, I have a decent MacBook, but the graphics card is pretty weak. Still, it will be nice to play some of the older games from Steam on it if they manage to make them OSX possible.

And now with the breakup I'm like bullet dodged! Seriously, you were taking on a lot to get into a relationship with a girl with multiple kids, and if she isn't going to completely adore you for being willing to do that, then she isn't worth your time.

Zaeed is just a bonus character. As a DLC, he can't have any real importance to the main campaign because he is completely optional. So yeah, after his mission, he is just a filler guy.

Politicians will bemoan the whole big government all day long to get votes, but they don't really want small government. That is their meal ticket. We've been having these same arguments since the Article of Confederation and I just don't see any dramatic changes on the horizon. It's all posturing.

The US has faced much bigger divisive issues in its history than health care. Maybe we just need to let the politicians duel it out with pistols again.

That reminds me, I got my hospital bill the other day. For my lovely two night stay, the bill was $75,000. Luckily I have double health coverage. The ambulance ride was $1700.
