When my wife goes in to get her rings cleaned, she pretty much tells the jeweler what she wants. Then I can go in on my own and just ask said jeweler what she wanted. Nice thing is I can scoff about the price without her around to see it.

Well I do agree that it is very likely an overzealous campaign manager. That would explain the request for phone numbers, as they are basically just volunteers with little actual power. And yeah, probably from California.
-
Well that explains a tremendous amount.

Whoa, Ridley Scott directed Blackhawk Down and the movie Alien. Coincidence?
-
Hardly doing that. Apologies if you think I am picking at you, though. Actually I did struggle with how to word my appreciation of Sakai correctly, particularly the word 'honest', so I guess you are just keeping me on my toes.
-
Well, when it comes to that country acting externally, funny you would think that. But also not new now, either, we've had Fighter and I think one other before Sakai. Have to wonder what you would conider 'honest' as well. Ah, I can always rely on you to dissect every word I post. Thanks Malcy.

Kind of funny when it's refreshing as it's stuff you agree with, but this isn't new. Plenty of posters have been all over Russia around and even before Crimea, and the opposition was usually oby (guy winding up usual windbags here). Criticism about a country by a bunch of people who don't live there is fairly worthless, in my opinion. Considering every one of the US posters are regularly critical about the country we live in, despite also loving our country, it is nice to see a native Russian that is able to do the same.

This is a ridiculous story. It smacks a lot more of the Laugh Factory boss trying to drum up attention than an attack on free speech. Both Clinton and Trump strike me as rather humorless, despite their appearances on SNL to try and prove otherwise. But some vague story about an unnamed staffer calling and 'threatening' the Laugh Factory is pretty weak. Also, why would the former secretary of state need to ask the owner for phone numbers of these comics? I'm pretty sure if she wanted to get them, she has better resources. It's not like they are anonymous, they have their names listed and they are trying to get noticed. I could probably get in contact with them if I needed to.

I don't know how you can possibly look at US foreign policy and assume they have any idea what they are doing. edit: Attack China? They are economically tied at the hip, what a terrible idea that would be.

It is refreshing to have some honest criticisms about Russia on these forums. All conversations used to be dominated by propagandists.

I've been single dad-ing it while my wife recovers from her ACL surgery. I'm super exhausted.

How is this even news?

Fallout 4 is coming soon.. is there a new OB Fallout Scheduled?

Well I love that strolling around in a business suit is not that insane. But honestly that isn't much different than the last two games. The only big difference is the customization of everything. -
This is what I pictured when I started watching Keyrock's video. I don't know why.

Actually it is pretty common to come across crafting stations in the wastes, where you can transfer gear to your workshop. So I haven't seen the need for packmules. The dog is a pretty easy companion though. He doesn't cause me much trouble. -
Yeah, I just went through the list after Malcador's comment. It's a pretty fantastic library. His work as a director is probably the biggest surprise, it's a very solid list. I watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty recently. I had avoided it because it was pretty well panned by critics, but I ended up enjoying it. Still, hard to beat Tropic Thunder and Zoolander for hilarity.

Have never found him, or those, remotely funny. Same thing with Owen Wilson. You didn't like "There's Something About Mary"?

Oh please. Spare me that conspiracy theory notion of capitalism as some kind of mythical cabal acting as a single entity. We have access to hundreds (thousands?) of competing news outlets. The idea that collectively, they give us less full and fair access to information about world events, than a centralized state-sponsored media would, is absolutely ludicrous. That does look a lot better than one big circle labelled "GOV"

I'm still going to place NV above Fallout 4, but I will say I think it is better than Fallout 3. I don't like the dialogue system either, but at the end of the day the good outweighs the bad. -
All three of those guys are less about the acting and more about the writing and producing.
-
Not sure I get this. I get it for Adam Sandler and Mike Meyers, But Ben Stiller still has more good than bad at this stage.

That seems to be the standard now. I bought Lego Dimensions for the kids the other day, popped it in, and it then proceeded to download 16 gigs. The kids were not amused.

There are two congressmen that are Muslim, actually. Not a whole lot, but Muslims only make up 1 percent of the population of the country, so not surprising. You are comparing a country of 300 million to a country of 30 million. If you want to find bad stories about either country, you are going to find them. For the US, you are going to easily find 10 times as many bad stories. Here is the thing, you are telling us that Malaysia is a great country, and I'm totally willing to believe that. I am glad you care for your country. But you seem to completely ignore all of the stuff we are telling you about the US. Why are you trying so hard to convince us that the country we live in is bad?

Yeah, I was pretty excited about Battlefront, but at the last moment backed off and decided to wait. Mostly because I'm too busy with Fallout 4.
