Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Well thank goodness for that, the film was already too long.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
It wasn't one of the powerful moments from the movie, sure, but really all it is supposed to do is set the stage for the big weapon to fire. The real important moments for me were how they handled the one on one character interactions, and I thought those were great. Was Moff Tarkin a better character? Sure. But they are still minor characters in the grand scheme, so who really cares?

Gaming best # of 2015
Hmm, I always have trouble remembering what I played in the calendar year. I also typically don't finish a game until a year or two after I get it. For example, Dead State and Wasteland 2 were the two games I really pushed through and finished this year. Dragon Age Inquisition also took me awhile to finally commit to. I haven't even finish Pillars of Eternity. I'd probably give my game of the year award to Wasteland 2 Director's Cut, but that's because it is the freshest game in my mind I felt was worth finishing. Invisible Inc. and Dead State Reanimated come in tied for 2nd.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Kylo is called the master of the Knights of Ren, so he was clearly up there in the training. But it's just a movie folks.

What are you playing right now?
ESO has improved some good stuff since I last visited. It's also remarkably busy. I like that I've got a lot of company as I tackle quests and anchor points. I'm only in the early levels right now, but that is nice to see.

What are you playing right now?
Yeah, once you hit Los Angeles, the game moves rather quickly. All the hubs are small and easy to navigate. Edit: I'm giving Elder Scrolls Online another go. There are some good improvements since I played it a year ago.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
That is total BS. You are reading racist crap into something that is just not there. All that really matters is if these people can act, and they can.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
I should probably point out that the Death Star is a mobile weapons platform, while the sun sucking planet is stationary and probably highly unstable. Cool, it worked once, but had the impression the odds of it just blowing up where pretty high. Not that it should really matter. This is a fantasy universe with space magic. Trying to apply logic and science to it is a good way to kill the entertainment factor.

What would you do if you had unlimited time and money?
Hah, I think it is awesome that some people read unlimited time and money as not having to work, and some people read it as immortality.

What would you do if you had unlimited time and money?
I'm sure I would do some charitable stuff. But really I'd buy some land, build a cool looking castle type structure, grow hops and barley, and run my own microbrewery. I'd bring on a few friends I have to market it and the actual brewing process. I'd also build a mobile taproom and take it to different events around the city. Oh and I'd buy a Tesla. I wouldn't buy a stable of cars, but that is the one I would like to own.

I upgraded to Windows 10. It was surprisingly easy. I think it might be a trap, though.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
I just got back from a second showing, my 5-year old did great. There are a few scenes that really got me a bit emotional, even on a second viewing. They were handled extremely well:

Psychonauts 2 :D
I own Spacebase. It's a playable game. It's not great, but it is hardly worth all the controversy it generated. You get what you pay for, I am pleasantly surprised when $20 gets me a deep game, but I do not expect that to happen every time. That being said, I still am not crowdfunding doublefine, but that has little to do with Spacebase.

What you did today
Yeah I retch pretty bad when the kids vomit too. I usually get the job of hosing them off while my wife cleans up the vomit. Good times. I'm taking the family to Star Wars this morning.

What you did today
We have 50 pounds of masa. We may have overdone this, I think we can go into business. We have a pretty big assembly line. I am in charge of the propane burners outside. I have only partially burnt some hairs, so it is going well. I am enjoying a Deschutes Jubilale while I work. Very festive.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Obviously Disney has revved up the marketing to a new level, but I'm not sure that has too much bearing on the entertainment factor of the movie. Abrams makes highly entertaining films, by and large. The majority of people seem to enjoy them. Nothing wrong with going against that, I think we all have stuff that makes us scratch our head over their popularity. I'm bummed for you that it is happening to Star Wars, which you obviously have an affinity for.

My house is filled with masa, pork, and chicken, and in a few hours we will start making tamales. We are also making dessert ones with dried cranberries and raisins.

He is still producing, so it's not like he is completely gone. Also LOST was awesome, and I loved the way it ended.

Republican Presidential Debate
Of course, there are some things that are worth spending government money on, and should not be a matter of political party.

The first area you should be exploring is a cave system where you go through an airlock kind of door thing. It is near the docks.
