Republican Presidential Debate
We really need some libtards putting up Huffington Post articles to help balance this place out.

What You Did Today Thread
Hah, we did the timeshare thing one time, I think we got a free lunch and $100 gift card out of it. I had zero interest, but my wife was ready to sign. I have an RV, why would I possibly want a timeshare? The guy looked like he was going to hang himself at the end. I also like that the 'free shuttle' was no longer available to take us back to our hotel at the end!

The Funny Things Thread
Considering Raithe pretty much keeps this thread alive, and has posted quite a bit of good stuff, I'll forgive him a stinker or two.

What You Did Today Thread
Yeah, I'm too much of a wuss to do any serious gambling. I always budget around $400 for gambling, but then freak out when I'm down $100 and give up. I also cash out super quick when I get up by a little bit, so I pretty much never spend much time at the tables. That's alright though, Vegas has way more to offer.

What You Did Today Thread
I'm planning on making my first trip to the Luxor this trip to see Carrot Top, so I'll make sure to ride them. I just read a book about the building of the Luxor, actually, so my interest is piqued. I hear it is a bit of a dump to stay at though. I've looked at those jacuzzi rooms at the Monte Carlo too. :D I think I'm making the switch to M Life properties after sticking with Caesars for the last few years. They seem to be a bit nicer. Monte Carlo has a chocolate workshop during the week, you take a 2 hour class with a pastry chef and make stuff. Looks like a pretty cool thing, I've been thinking about booking it.

Where are you staying? I'm not going to stalk you, promise. I'm going in April and I've been trying to figure out where to stay. Right now I have Vdara booked.

The Rape of Europe
Yes. Any mass of uneducated immigrants being uprooted and dropped in a foreign culture is going to be problematic. You brought up organized crime. Do we condemn all Italians for the spread of organized crime across the US? Keep in mind it took nearly a century to root out the bulk of their influence across the country.

The Rape of Europe
Well whether it is cultural reform or religious reform that is needed, you aren't going to get it by attacking and condemning an entire group for the sins of a few. Throwing the book at specific offenders is one thing, but you need education and open dialogue for real reform.

The Rape of Europe
Huh, I thought it was pretty bad around here when all we did was make threads complaining about 'ethics in game journalism'. I was wrong.

Games you want that'll likely never exist
I could get into a new Silent Storm, as long as they leave the panzerkleins in the trash. Really I would just like a decent JA2 clone for basically every time period.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Age of Empires is an RTS game. I'm not quite sure how Civilization is arcady, it is a turn based strategy game. Total War games are kind of hybrids, turn based strategy with real time battles. Although I wouldn't classify those battles as RTS, as you aren't building units and managing resources in combat. I've never played Cossacks either, but if you are building, managing resources, and armies all in real time, it would be a RTS game more like Age of Empires or Stronghold. edit: Bart beat me to it, but you can have an RTS game with more focus on the armies and troop movement. It seems like Cossacks might fit that mold.

I've never heard of that, but I'm now curious. So I am a hipster wannabe.

I think it is pretty clear that we will never get a decent Jagged Alliance. There have been enough attempts.

Capitalism is un-Christian.
Huh, I know a number of people that have converted to Judaism, mostly because of a spouse. It is not a religion that actively proselytizes. Dang it, I try so hard not to engage in any of these crazy qistina discussions.

I'm also enjoying a run of ESO. Very surprising how busy everything is.

Capitalism is un-Christian.
That has always been fairly close to the way I see it. Saying 'there is no God' seems as close minded as saying 'my God is the only real one.' Saying there is no evidence to support the existence of God, so I choose not to spend time on it' is perfectly reasonable, but far from what I see most atheists going on about.

Capitalism is un-Christian.
Wouldn't that be agnosticism, not atheism?

Underrail General Topic
I decided to crawl out of the airspace and finish up my mission, so I'm done with the junkyard and now robots are taking over the world, or something.

What's on the idiot box?
Actually I'm not even sure what networks I'm watching anymore. I watch Bizarre Foods, Top Chef, anything with Anthony Bourdain, and some other random stuff. Now that I think on it, Travel Channel is probably the network I watch the most. edit: Back to the original point with Oerwinde, I watch those over an hour long drama because they are easy to walk away from.

I was pretty satisfied by the way Channing Tatum went out. Despite seeing it come a mile away, it was worth the price of admission. I think I had a pretty good idea he would die that way as soon as I saw his name in the credits. But yeah, it's not my top Tarantino film. It's right in the middle of the pack for me.
