I'd agree with the better than FO3, but not as good as FO:NV. FO4 tries to do some very interesting stuff, with mixed results. At the heart of it, if you enjoy exploring a big open world, which is really the hallmark of all Bethesda games, then you are going to be happy. If you are looking for something from the old Interplay titles, you are not going to find much.

The commentators keep calling the Lakers the Generals. Hard to argue with that.

I finished Wasteland 2 for the first time. It took 57 hours, according to Steam. Quite a ride, I had stalled out in my first play through, but this time I got through it. I did some good stuff.

Yeah, I feel like people don't read the part where they ask for all your information. Although I have a flashlight app, and the other day I was stumbling around in the dark, and when I tried to turn on the app it said it had been updated and I needed to give them access to my contacts. Why does a flashlight app need my contacts? So I was torn between stumbling around in the dark or giving up all my contacts.

You should read the chapter that Carey Elwes wrote about the sword fight in The Princess Bride. The rest of his book is a bit of a bore, but that part stood out.

I am in hollywood in Wasteland 2, and I think I am near the end. My squad just hit level 30. I plan on pushing through in tue next day or so.

He has been posting long essays on why he dislikes the game since it was announced. I don't like that. Do you really want to encourage that kind of thing? I have no idea what his critiques even are, at this point. It's just white noise.

So I am weak and gave in to temptation. I did last for about 5 days, so that is not too bad. I now own Star Wars Battlefront Battlefront runs surprisingly well. I mean I expected the game engine to run well, but typically DICE and EA screw up the lobbies and menu systems. I was worried about buying it on the PC, but those seem to be needless worries. I did a couple tutorials, and then jumped into the fight. I was actually pretty decent, which was another surprise, as I am often terrible at these games. I even led my team in points one match, although we did get slaughtered 3 matches in a row. So I was the best of the worst, huzzah! Anyways, I think it will be a good game to jump into for short increments.

You seem to have quite a bit of interest in me following anything related to FO4. I am sorry if i came across as having quite a bit of interest. Does it seem odd to me that you are obsessing over a game you are not going to buy? Absolutely. Is it annoying that you keep spamming a thread where I typically would enjoy discussing the game with other players? Sure. But hey, feel free to keep doing it. Qistana did the same thing over Dragon Age: Inquisition, so I guess you are the Qistana of Fallout. Congrats.

I'll answer that if you answer me this: why do you care? Probably because this thread has people playing the game and discussing both the good and the bad, and then this thread has people who are not playing the game but seem obsessed with nitpicking all the bad stuff. It's a weird mix and a bit hard to navigate.
