That's not in Yountville is it? Nope, it's not French Laundry, which is pretty famous. It's a fairly new place called Manresa in Los Gatos. I think the most I've spent on a dinner was about $400. That was at Nobu in Vegas.

I've been trying to figure out a reasonably priced little getaway for the wife and me over the holidays, when I stumbled upon a 3-star michelin rated restaurant in our area. Most of them tend to be in the city, so that was a nice surprise. Then I looked at the menu, it is $210 each, and it would be another $180 each if we want the wine pairing. Holy moly!

It was probably not aired because no one really cares about gamergate or video game misogyny.

Well I did a test run with my 5-year old and we watched the trailer together. He talked the whole time, so he's out for at least my first time seeing it. He kept saying "Those guys fight rough!"

I'm at day 54 in Dead State. I've rescued pretty much everyone, and I think I've delivered blows to the Coyotes, the Militia, and the Mercenaries. I've got a lot of supplies now, so I think I'll just kick back and relax for a few weeks.

Oddly enough, I watched episode III a few weeks ago. My son had tuned out by then, he was just running around having lightsaber duels with our dog. But my daughter, who is 8, was following it closely. Still, she didn't really get that Anakin was going to kill the kids. She assumed he was there to protect them. I wasn't going to spoil that one for her. She had watched him be the good guy through Episode II and most of III, so it was not an easy transition for her, even knowing he becomes Darth Vader.

Well I'm pretty stoked. I'm wondering if my 5-year old can handle it. He did great with Avengers 2, but this might be too dark.

I feel like Marino was more consistent than Rivers, but it's been a long time so it could be reminiscence.

However it really isn't my place to comment on it because I am not familiar with his work, and would rather leave that to his fans. Have some decorum.

Ugh, dog got sprayed by a skunk. My son woke me up around 3 AM because he heard something. I helped him get back to sleep, then I let the dog out to go to the bathroom. I was clearly tired, because I should have put it together that there was probably a skunk outside. When I went to let him back in, he blew by me and it was clear he got hit full bore. We spent about an hour cleaning him and the front room he had walked through.

It's pretty exciting to watch a pitcher during a no-hitter though. The tension ramps up with every pitch.

Starting pitchers are gone, should be an interesting finish!
