You know, it is one thing to not be attracted to a certain race. That is perfectly acceptable. But calling them ugly because they are of that race is incredibly ugly in and of itself. Hard to believe anything Star Wars will bomb at the box office. People here were predicting Black Panther would be a bust, and that has been huge, so I don't expect it to do anything but gangbusters.

I never understand how gamers can ever wish for game comapnies to get shut down, particularly one like Bethesda with such a rich history. But what evs, the reality is they are pretty safe.

I think I'm losing interest in the Marvel Netflix stuff. I struggled with Iron Fist and Defenders, and I've even stalled out on my favorite character; the Punisher. I don't think I can start another.

White guys need a voice in this world Grommie. This is one of the few places we can be heard. Since I'm posting, I might as well give my input... Personally I prefer when games give as much choice as possible on character creation. I tend to play a character I can identify with, and it rubs me wrong when I'm forced to play someone I don't like. It isn't like watching a movie, I'm actually controlling that person. For example I can't stand Geralt. I'd probably love playing in The Witcher universe, but I can't get into playing that pale SOB. I think it is actually easier for a developer to give more choice, because you are going to appeal to a broader group. If you are developing a game with a very specific narrator, it is a bigger challenge because you need to make the character appealing in a very general sense.

Ah yes, how dare someone fantasize inappropriately in fantasy roleplaying games.

All of my cloth stuff falls apart quickly. I know I can repair armor and weapons, but am I missing some sort of way to repair shoes, gloves, and jackets? I also need to find some better ways to make money. I'm broke all the time. At least I can read now, that was a neat way to handle that in game.

So I went on a drunken bender with a priest and preached some Jan Hus heresy. It was probably the best drunken shenanigans scenario I've seen pulled off in a video game. It reminded me of my college days.

I thought AC: Origins was amazing looking. The setting helped, of course. But yeah, the story (or motivation, rather) was problematic. That seems to be typical for AC games though.

I kind of love how the Far Cry team doesn't just add extra content, they create entirely different and wacky settings for their expansions.

I take short showers, but I take about 3 a day, so that probably adds up to a lot.
