Whips

Whips always seem tricky in these sorts of games. It's hard to justify their utility against well armored opponents. Flails and meteor hammers do make more sense -

Wouldn't that be a trap? -
Counting your elves before they hatch? But I did think we needed a pale elf companion if your counting what we got in PoE1. Really I am surprised we didn't get a mountain dwarf or female orlan. But I care more about a story that is natural to the demographics of our locals. So having a lot of Aumaua is no big deal for me. Representation comes later on my list of priorities. I'd volunteer to nix a human, being one myself. But Eder needs a lady friend, so Xoti is of utmost necessity.

Yes but eventually this trend started to give way. PoE is probably a little bit different. I wouldn't expect nearly as much as we got in the first 2 days. I'd put us maybe right around 4.1-4.2 million on the optimistic side. The final 800k will probably have to come after the campaign. But this is all just guess work. There will always be people willing to chip in another $30-60 a month later when their next paycheck comes. Tax return season anyone?

I don't think we know yet. For Poe1 Obs chose to split the DLC into to installments. But you only backed for the DLC essentially. When you backed the DLC you got both parts. I think how Obs decides to handle dlc will come much later. I'd imagine the DLC addon counts for content about the size of TWM1&2. But Obsidian could decide to split up the Deadfire DLC differently. Or do two larger expansions, of which you only have reserved the first one.

While I don't want to make assumptions, I find it hard to think they won't do this. It begs a question though. If all the companions that aren't in your party are on the boat, and you encounter a raid on the seas. Does that mean every companion is present for that encounter? Seems plausible. Maybe you don't control the one's that aren't in your party or something?
