  1. I had no idea European Bison were even a thing... Their current range is practically a pinprick of a map... I've always heard that Bison were unique to America, and they got the nickname Buffalo because it was the closest thing people could associate with them. But this changes everything. This is the real news of this thread.
  2. Clinton era, Bush era, Obama era. This is not new, and all it's doing is specifying a time frame.
  3. I probably just made some assumption when I saw that crazy word. One might say I was having a case of the gondandags.
  4. I'm kind of waiting to see what Valve puts out. A proper full length game that goes beyond just 8 hours of gimmicks is what I need to be sold on it. In the end I think VR will best be used in racing games.
  5. I don't think that is her class name. Gondandag is the first day of the week in the Eastern Reach. A bug made that string appear in the class table. But to OP, even if you can't select double rogue, I think it's very likely that there will be an assassin-based sub-class. I'm thinking of going rogue/wizard for my first character. Stab people in the bad, cast spells and disappear. It sounds like fun. I recall seeing gondandag referenced before this update, I was pretty sure it's an actual unique subclass name.
  6. You can't multi-class the same class twice, not even with 2 different subclasses. That was a UI bug, and Godandag is Xoti's unique monk subclass.
  7. The engineers that engineer best engineer least. Hmmm... As far as I'm concerned governance and the human development index are an ongoing collaborative engineering project. Competition and markets are great, but if tax was at a minimal extreme people wouldn't know how the hell to invest of their money to actually promote modernity. National endowments to science have been key, and government contracting is an invaluable aspect of the modern economy. It's more about doing the right things, rather than big/little government. Wherever the levers of society might be, that's where corruption will flock.
  8. Your view is that somehow fox is a cut above other networks, because they don't attack Trump in the manner that other networks do. In reality they galvanize behind the GOP, the Koch Brothers, and various other private interest groups, and with their party in Congress and a president right of the Dems they are certainly inclined to tow the line. Doing as little to worsen Trumps atrocious approval rating is directly in-line with their interests. Politics exist above the plane of decency, where expedience and opportunism is the first of many necessary sins. Like others have said, go back a year and the tone of conservative networks is drastically different. Personally I couldn't care less about getting the "right" perspective on world affairs at the end of each night, I'd rather diversify my sources of information and build a more comprehensive overview. After a while every network looks frantic, petty, and all undeserving of kowtowing to. If you want to scrape the bottom of the barrel of liberals, it's not that hard to do. The sensationalists and reactionaries aren't going away, and after some time most people learn when not to waste a breath. It's not like they're silence is condoning substandard professionalism. If your issue is with people not meeting an ideal baseline of civility, then I'd hope you'd see the striking symmetry across people any way you cut it. When your focus is particularly positioned on the insufficiencies across the aisle, then people will take notice of this angle. First it's a sign of who is in your scope, second it's traces back where you might place yourself. There is plenty of valid criticisms the be thrown at Trump even if done so shrewdly, taking concerns with how the criticism is made and less the arguments all the while insisting you don't support those who you defend leaves you looking like an apologist. So why not just speak to the general issue of humanity, in some ways doing that is actually less effort then getting entangled with specifics?
  9. I prefer Classic Original Sin over Enhanced Original Sin, to be honest. Why is that?
  10. I think that is a companion unique subclass for monk (for Xoti I believe?), It's certainly not a monk/monk multi-class name.
  11. You can't do this, either they have yet to code against that, or they haven't finalized the UI elements.
  12. I think most people haven't grokked grok. So there in lies your answer.
  13. Hmm, but those would be level 1 spells, no? I don't mean the start as in level 1, I mean the class is built with more abilities so you can pick a larger amount at each level. I'll be honest, some of the classes I'd be happy if they had double the potential abilities in total to choose from.
  14. Ideally there would be a much larger pool of abilities to choose from from the start.
  15. Yup, and I'm in total agreement with you there. The star of D1/D2 was the atmosphere, the landscape, the personal conflict of humans caught between forces. It chose showing over telling. It's exposition didn't steal the air like it does in D3, instead it spurred you forward and paced you through the blighted countrysides. You had a few major touching stones each act, that all related to something that was actively going on. The hero was just that out of circumstance, not prophecy. The story made sense naturally, but then they introduced lore which they then had to justify and so much of their content was just them chasing their own tale. In D1/D2 I was fighting the definition of evil as it is known in the western world, in D3 I was being fed Blizzard's contrived marketing driven universe and they had to make sure I knew it.
  16. Awesome, I always felt robbed of governing my characters growth with full spell dumps, even though in theory getting everything should be nice.
  17. Somewhere else on the intertubes I saw a counter to that article stating that "dating is the ultimate free market," I got a good chuckle out of that.
  18. Weird. I'm getting old, it seems. To me, this looks more or less the same as I remember it. Perhaps the option buttons are bigger, I dunno? The old site had a red colour scheme, you should be seeing a teal and gold scheme now.
  19. Cool downs are usually per ability, and can be used in-junction with recovery. Where does the term cool down come from anyways? It's always come across as very Blizzardish to me, but maybe it's because they abuse it more than anyone else. edit: My 1000th post, so this is what being a Warlock feels like!
