  1. Great game, not sure why you wouldn't play it, much better than the OC(although I enjoyed it)
  2. So is it any good?
  3. Not it. Anyway, currently playing BG2, I am in Asylum/Spellhold and getting my ass kicked, it has been along time since I have gotten this far. Underrated dungeon, some good puzzles, riddles and some nasty, nasty traps.
  4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) - Where's the magic? Where? Same as it ever was, deja vu......you get the idea Just like the rest of them (although I enjoyed the first one the most) 7/10 Starship Troopers (1997) - Cheesy sci-fi. The only good bug is a dead bug. Sorry but I love this flick and would never turn it off if it came on. 8/10 The Last King of Scotland (2006) - Caught the first 20 minutes or so, I will finish it up sometime today... Looks good so far.
  5. Some info "taken" from the Bio boards Q: What kind of start of the campaign can we expect? Is it a highly personalised story, where our pc is the chosen one, some mercenary rising to the occasion, some classic prison break?, or maybe at some wizard school, a bad tavern, or what? A: Adventurer(s). A: As Jeff stated, straight up old school fortune and glory seekers. Q: Is there any hope for such special and challenging 'jack in the box'? I have high hopes for the following to happen: My far too low-levelled party walks off in an entirely wrong direction and thus gets to bite the dust in a bloody awful way, much like how me first BG1 party far too soon entered into Ankheg fields and were crushed over and over. A: Oh, yes. Very much yes. Q: Proliferation of magic stuff or a more scarce approach? A: More scarce. Q: In light of the fact that Zehir is a new 4.0 edition god, what ruleset will SoZ be using? A: It will be the same 3.5e that was in NWN2 and NX1. Q: Is this a brand new story or does it continue with your character and storyline from NWN2 and MotB? A: This is a new story with new characters, though some old faces might be seen, and some old story threads might be re-visited. Q: So, who's working on this expansion, anyway? Is it the same team that did MotB? A: Several members from MoTB and NWN2 are working on SoZ (NX2) as well as some new folks. Q: Will this be more designed the way Icewind Dale was e.g. lots of locations and dungeons, not that much story and conversation but lots of fighting? Or will it be more like Baldur's Gate e.g. lots of places to visit but a great immersive main story with lots of talk and lots of missions and less focus on the fighting? A: Little from column A, little from column B, little from (mystery) column C.
  6. Griffey becomes sixth player with 600 homers. Hard to imagine how many he would have had if he remained injury free...
  7. Time for another update? And for petes sake update the front page of your own website
  8. I guess they did not get the memo from Sand that NWN 2 was dead. This is great news. Who do I send my money to?
  9. Coming off Super Bowl win, Strahan to retire Link Get a ring and retire. Good for him. An excellent player who will soon be in Canton, along with his friend Brett Farve.
  10. Happy Birthday to Natalie Portman who is 27 today http://youtube.com/watch?v=v8e6-IeQ0aw&feature=related
  11. I was very excited to see it, watched it with my nephews, we all thought it sucked and was boring as hell. Haven't thought about seeing it again. I hear they are making a sequel???? Superman: Man of Steel (2009)
  12. Superman The Movie 1978 - Still my favorite super hero movie. The film is EPIC (which separates it from this years Iron Man, a nice little origin tale) and Christoper Reeves is perfectly cast. Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Ned Betty and the rest of cast is superb (except for Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, she bugged the **** out of me) also some of the gags are a bit corny and outdated. The special effects are damn good for when it was made. You really can believe a man can fly. Awesome cinematography, and John Williams score is as usual... brilliant. Not a huge fan of the ending, but I can live with it. 10/10 SHM 8.5/10 RM
  13. Well it has been a bizarre season so far for the pAAAdres. Boring, boring baseball, freak injuries, impotent offense, last years league leading pitching reduced to mediocrity and.... record setting. So far the team has set to 2 MLB records. First team ever to play in five 13+ inning games, before June, including a 22 game marathon. Tonights win against the Mets (4th in a row) it's the first time in major league history that a team had won four consecutive games by a 2-1 score Only 8 games out and it's June 7th, the NL West is wide open. We shall see....
  14. If you need a fix. NHL TV is always there.......Hockey 24/7
  15. That's too bad. Although online DnD needs all the help it can get
  16. Sure does. I wonder who took em out. Mob, NFL, players, jealous girlfriend..... Intrerested to see what happens with this story
  17. "A convicted steroids dealer who claimed to have sold drugs to pro football players killed himself, the Dallas County medical examiner said Friday." Link Very interesting story
  18. After getting nearly every series wrong, I nailed this one. Great series, although I was kind of hoping for a game seven. The better team clearly won, and there was little doubt that Detroit was the better team.
  19. Joseph Kucan is the guy who plays Kane in the cinematics for the Command & Conquer series. Never heard of it, or played it.
  20. Agree, it's been downhill since season 2. Possibly, but Harold Perrineau (Michael) did prove he can act. Also his character was far from one dimensional.
  21. Sure it's simplistic, but give the player a choice INFINITE AMMO or FINITE AMMO. Pleasing as many customers as possible is a good thing. $$$$$$$$$
  22. DAMN, one hell of a game.
  23. "Even if EA acquired Take 2 today, that wouldn't happen. Takes way too much time to build something from scratch. The earliest you'd see an EA-made baseball game would be 2010. For 2009, they'd simply publish 2K9 while starting up an in-house team to make MVP 2010 (or whatever they'd call it)." From an ex developer that worked with EA on MVP "DrJones"on the possibility of a new EA baseball game. Take it for what it's worth.
  24. A true legend passes away. RIP
