  1. See I am the exact opposite, the original modules that I have played are seriously lacking....I much prefer a remake of a p&p writen by professionals.
  2. Here's hoping they can make the games they love and the quality reflects that, whatever the setting/theme may end up being. A game so good, you can't help but spend your hard earned income supporting.
  3. I would recommend these to anyone, both pen and paper recreations Tomb of Horrors Revisited Tomoachan
  4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PC 16.58% completed, fun game and verrrrrry long.
  5. Best gangster film? Don't think so. It does have flaws, which prevent it's from being perfect. Anyway I do not give many (any) films a perfect 10 It does not always bother me take Pan's Labyrinth for instance, had zero issues with reading that movie.
  6. I struggled with the score. It most likely deserves a 9 First off I hate "reading" movies, not the movie makers fault I do not understand their language, but it did affect my enjoyment of it. Hopefully I can find a dubbed version. I also felt that it was too long, too much gratuitous violence, and lost focus when the war began, up to that point it was certainly a terrific film.
  7. Cidade de Deus (2002) "City of God" Powerful gangster flick set in Brazil, not at all what I expected and highly recommended. 8/10
  8. The ending of the OC is good, but the narrator is terrible, they should definitely fix that (if they haven't already)
  9. Yes, the last time we won in the playoffs was 1998, I am sure you remember that year right who we beat the first round of the playoffs Our teams have won exactly ZERO championships, so I would not say that either teams have been that much more successful that the other, Although we have gone to the world series twice (against arguably 2 of the greatest teams in baseball history) and you?
  10. An Astros fan calling the Padres loser's... come on now lololololololololollololo
  11. Like they have a choice what division they play in. In 2005 I might agree with you since they were just 82-80, but 2007 they were in the top 5 in team wins and 2 two of those were in the same division. Also Peavy is from Alabama, they do not even have a baseball team???
  12. Boredom, because they can, sell it for $$$$$$$$$$, expand their horizons, stick it to the man, give to their friends, for ****'s and giggles?????
  13. Well now hold on there slick. The Padres have been winner's recently. In the last 4 years (not counting this season, it's still too early) they have won the division twice, 346-303 record, and last year lost in a tie-breaker game to go to the playoffs against the eventual NL world series Representative ( It ended on a controversial call on a sacrifice fly where many questioned (including me) whether Matt Holliday ever touched home plate, leaving Padre fans saying "Holliday never touched home!") They just made some bad decisions as far as personnel this year, no speed, along with the worst base running I have ever witnessed, (Brian Giles sucks) and no power, again it's too early to judge how this season will turn out. As far as Peavy is concerned, he ain't going anywhere. "On December 12, 2007, he signed a 4 year extension, worth $52 million with the Padres [4]. At the time the contract was the largest in Padres history. The contract includes a $22 million option for 2013."
  14. Taking sports rivalries too far Yanks fan kills Sox fan
  15. Personally I just follow the rating systems, they seem to do a good job. I remember being 9 years old and going to some R rated western that traumatized me for a few years. I will not make the same mistake..... On topic; Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) - It was alright with a few good laughs, enjoyed the first one more 6.5/10
  16. I would'nt know, my 5 year old son still watches Sprout and Noggin. Not too much death and destruction watching Caillou and Little Bill
  17. I would not let mine go, but that's just me. The beginning battle scenes are kinda rough, lots of shooting, explosions, people dying....
  18. Off topic, but movie related. Upcoming Marvel movies, and scheduled release dates. Iron Man 2 - 4/30/10 Thor - 6/4/10 Captain America - 5/6/11 Avengers - 7/11 http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=155942
  19. I'll take Dallas and Philly. Which means you should all bet money on Pit and Detroit
  20. I just skip over the Firewine Ruins, the risk is not worth the reward.
  21. Yea I don't get that either, DD was alright, I would give it about a 6 or a 6.5. I thought Affleck was the least of that movies problems.
  22. I also enjoyed Iron Man, possibly more than my all time favorite Superman: The Movie. Not really a big fan of the character, so it did not bother me if/when they strayed from the source material. For once it was better and more entertaining then it's printed counterpart. The comicbook Iron Man always seemed to work better in team books anyway. 8.5/10
