You thought the started this weekend didn't you? Nope "Dolphins make tackle Long top pick in draft with five-year deal After weeks of speculation, the Miami Dolphins made their intentions with the top pick in the NFL Draft known. The Dolphins signed former Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long on Tuesday, making him the top overall pick in Saturday's NFL Draft. NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the contract is valued at $57.5 million over five years, including $30 million in guaranteed money. Miami general manager Jeff Ireland made the announcement from a team press conference, along with Long and head coach Tony Sparano. "I'm very excited and honored to be able to be a part of the Miami Dolphins and this organization," Long said. "I want to thank my agents and the Miami Dolphins for getting this deal done so now I can just concentrate on football." Jake Long Offensive tackle Height: 6-7 Weight: 315 College: Michigan Hometown: Lapeer, MI Also NFL network is reporting Shaun Alexander is released by the Seahawks. No big surprise there, considering their off season moves.

Bioware - Are Their Games Actually That Good?
Kelverin replied to Humodour's topic in Computer and Console
I liked the change. I thought it was necessary and helped show that although it was a sequel, it was it's own game. Not familiar with forgotten realms lore but maybe the change in location explained the differences in atmosphere and art direction, why it was as you put it in "more surreal and Middle Eastern" ? -
Lets hope tomorrows game 7 is more entertaining then tonights. GO CAPS!

Don't know if you have played the game before, but I would play it as it was originally intended. Just patched with expansions. I always had fun with PC - With the other 4 NPC's you can play whatever you wish and still have a balanced party Xzar > anyone Kagain Viconia Montaron Random NPC that you take a fancy to.

Love to see the Icewind Dale franchise continue. The music, artwork, random items with and their excellent descriptions, exotic locations, sense of loneness and desolation is second to none. Cut out the numerous encounters and focus on world/party interaction and make each encounter challenging and memorable, hell by the time I finished Dragons Eye in the first game I had over 700 kills. Just keeping your ****ing cut scenes and forced companions away Edit: The environment could end up being your greatest adversary. Now that would be interesting!

Bioware - Are Their Games Actually That Good?
Kelverin replied to Humodour's topic in Computer and Console
I will most likely pick up Mass Effect when I finish the games I have that are not finished yet, As for Jade Empire, I do not know much about it. But I have as much interest as I did in the old Oriental Adventures DnD game = None at all -
What the hell is he doing with his knife? Stabbing crates. Classic FPS gameplay right there. umm I meant the stroking the sharp edge with his bare fingers

Bioware - Are Their Games Actually That Good?
Kelverin replied to Humodour's topic in Computer and Console
Out of the bioware games I have played, the author of the article nails it. Average. He also is right about their success, you might not like their games but it's hard to argue with their productivity and business sense. Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II plus expansions - closest to high fantasy pen and paper DnD I have ever played. Excellent Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic -
What about in sports games don't you think that it should be impossible to kick a 70 yard field goal. Or take a hairpin turn at 300km/hr. Realism in sports games is desirable, the idea is to get as close to reality as possible. If I want to do incredible (unrealistic) athletic feats there are plenty of sports titles for that as well ..NFL Blitz, NBA Ballers, NHL Hitz Pro ....... In a fantasy game, I really am not looking for reality.

Please keep your reality out of my fantasy games. Thanks

No, it's animated, but it's supposed to be pretty well done. There is a live action TV project in the works as well. LINK Zodiac (2007) - "Based on the Robert Graysmith books about the real life notorious Zodiac, a serial killer who terrorized San Francisco with a string of seemingly random murders during the 1960s and 1970s." Another David Fincher masterpiece, thought he did a great job of capturing life in the late 60's and 70's. Excellent cast as well. Surprised this did not receive more love at the Oscars. Worthwhile. 9/10

Fallout 2 Had to get away from the blandness of Morrowind and delve into some gratuitous sex and violence.
-
Juno (2007) Excellent flick, great job by all those involved. 9/10 Stranger Than Fiction (2006) Probably the only Will Farrell movie that I like. Dustin Hoffman was superb as Professor Jules Hilbert. 7.5/10

NFL released it's schedule today LINK Somehow the Patriots got the easiest schedule??? The Chargers got the second easiest.....both of there divisions must suck.
-
Lol no. Parts 2 and 3 sucked, part 4 sucked less. Nothing can touch the original however.
-
After years and years of scientific evidence I have failed to reach a conclusion. More research is necessary.

Live Free or Die Hard (2007) I enjoyed it, better than parts 2 or 3. 7/10 The Warlock: Oh... so you're a fan of the Fett? John McClane: [standing next to a stand-up cardboard cut-out of Boba Fett] No, I was always a fan of Star Wars

Which feature is most important in AP?
Kelverin replied to bronzepoem's topic in Alpha Protocol: General Discussion
One of my favorite event in any CRPG. Anyway fun is that most important feature, which can be achieved if all the choices in the poll are implemented in the game, humor is always a plus as well. -
Stardust (2007) - Not for everyone I guess but I loved it 9/10

Not familiar with most of their non-sports titles, but I can't see EA supporting a game that has all the baggage that comes with the GTA series. ?

I guess that's what I have been reduced to...an escort. What if I do not complete their tasks? Will they stay no matter what? Attack me??? Leave? Just download Dalekeeper and give your self a Bag of Holding.
