Sometimes. Depends on the game, usually if the game is good I'll rush through it the first time and finish it as so as possible. Then play it again take my time and explore everything. Thats why I enjoy RPG games so much, play a different class, take different companions and if there are multiple paths/options/endings that's a huge bonus and makes replaying the game less of a "chore" One of the best things about sports games really, every game is different.

In many ways my favorite game. I would go with a 6 person party, the game is meant to be played that way, and the encounters get to be too easy with a 1

Good flick if you have not seen C'era una volta il West (Once Upon a Time in the West) I highly recommend that, same director, better film. If you don't mind westerns that is. I thought Amadeus was a great film, however they tore this film apart (took out about an hour and a half) when it was first released, the film that opened that year barely resembles the 4 hour masterpiece. It is a fascinating story, look it up.

Depends on how they do it. We had the same problem here in San Diego, downtown was a mess, derelict buildings, homeless people, violence in the street, but they did it, cleaned up the area and it's barely recognizable from what it used to be like. Nice restaurants, bars, night clubs and shopping centers, built the convention center - cleaned up the crime in the area, and then gave the homeless tickets to Arizona I think

The second Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion pack coming?
Kelverin replied to funcroc's topic in Computer and Console
How about a low level, magic, combat game that focused on the characters and story? You know, reward players for their problem solving abilities, role playing their characters correctly, interacting with their environment and the world's NPC's. Hell give more experience for non-violent resolutions to encounters. And that's just a few options. I could care less where the game takes place, as long as the story is captivating. ......I can dream can't I? -
Just started watching this show "on demand" Reached episode 12 "Whatever The Case May Be" What do the real fans think, does the series get better, worse, or remain the same throughout?

"MIAMI -- After eight years of searching for a long-term home -- and eight years of frustration -- the Marlins on Thursday ecstatically found the answer to their dreams. Funding for a new stadium, in the form of a Baseball Stadium Agreement, was approved by the two principal commission bodies here." Link

Try about $8.00 for a 16oz beer in San Diego. If I want to bring the wife and kid and sit in a seat at petco park I can expect to drop $200.00 at least. I'll go like once a year, and watch the rest of the games for "free" on TV. I long for the days of Jack Murphy Stadium, $5.00 tickets about $6.00 for a beer and hot dog and $4.00 parking

Are the pain killers you are referring to legal? Because steroid use has been against the law for a long time. So there's a difference for you. Do painkillers make you a better player? It might get you more innings pitched, or more at bats but they do not improve performance. If I am not mistaken the minor leagues have always had very strict guidelines on steroid/drug use. Since the players union was so powerful the league was unable to demand stricter drug testing in the majors until recently. However the owners are as much to blame if not more so, for the whole situation, they knew what was happening and were to busy counting their money to do anything about it.

I agree about college football, MLB really has the most competitive balance of any major sport, other than maybe hockey. Check the world series competitors over the last 10 years. Pretty evenly balanced I would say, however there are some teams that have ZERO shot at winning anything.

Love, LOVE baseball, meant to be enjoyed with friends and family. Nothing quite setting in the bleacher on a lazy day talking with your dad/child or best friend about everything, including sometimes baseball itself. Bottom of the ninth, full count, base loaded, tie game - boring my ass, some of the most exciting moments in sports can be found in baseball, but I really don't mind all the down time either, don't miss the fact there is no time clock. Just love the game for what it is. As far as steroids is concerned, they do give players an unfair advantage. No doubt about it, made average players great. Great players greater. How many minor leaguers never got a shot at the big leagues because they played the game "right" and never shot up or took drugs, how many peoples LIVES were altered? Nobody can answer that, but it's in the past, let's move on. That being said, I am tired of anything that has to do with steroids and HGH or anything like that, lets talk about spring training, roster moves, injuries, anything but the "S" word.

I find it all very amusing myself. Certainly nothing to get upset about. America (people) sure loves to build up their heroes and then tear them to shreds.
