Fallout: New Vegas
I wonder when it's going to start showing up in shops.

Fallout: New Vegas
It usually works better to spin your own tale right up to the moment of release, after which you can't hide the truth from anyone anymore. It's safer than risking negative hype, especially of course if the game/movie/whatever sucks, but the PR folks will usually want to keep control of the narrative for as long as they can regardless.

Strongest national brand?
What's so exciting about Australia. The dust, the dingoes, or the cows ?

Yahtzee reviews
I'm in favor of automatic regen, up to half your full health bar. While I do expect to die when playing, I don't want it to happen constantly. I'm also in favor of alternate ways to keep track of injuries, that is ditching the health bar altogether and instead have alternate animations (Far Cry 2) abilities and movement degraded (broken bones in FO2)

Strongest national brand?
If the matrix and index numbers indicate that Sweden is the most popular country all that proves is that the method is flawed.

This is one of them great mysteries of the universe, right up there with the secrets of the pyramids : why anyone liked HALO. I mean we know that they did, and that they do. Just... WHY ?.

Get with the times already. No one uses EI anymore

What are you playing now
I mean to say, there is little going on besides shooting things with guns or magic, or hacking if you took the barbarian or whatever he was called. It pretty much is Diablo.

What are you playing now
Torchlight. It's a pretty simplistic top down view fantasy shooter. Strangely addictive.

Pictures of your games
I always wondered if that was Risen as in choklade Risen or Risen as in not sitting down anymore.

New copyright enforcement bill on its way
Doesn't follow on a 1 to 1 basis. Most people will take any old garbage if it's for free.

New copyright enforcement bill on its way
By the way I have a TV license and I don't have a TV. That's how it works here, unless you live in a cave you pay.

New copyright enforcement bill on its way
It doesn't take much in the way of computer savey to pirate, your average user would be good to go in a heartbeat. Also Hurlshot is right about growing up, that's what happened to me anyway.

The beginning of the end of specialist retailers?
Well prices on steam don't reflect those in stores for various nefarious reasons already mentioned. Just wait for the CDs, they will cost the same as everything else. It's the same reason DVD and Blue Ray region coding exists, so they can charge more where they can get away with it. Only with steam they can actually effectively deny parallel imports. If it wasn't the private sector doing it people would be calling it a Socialist conspiracy.

Fallout: New Vegas
So what are you guys doing. Cramming like it's the night before the economics exam, buying fur coats and eating caviar. Happy with the build ?

Fallout: New Vegas
I pay around 45 E for a European release, considering that I don't buy that many games I don't worry about it.

The Cataclysm is coming!
I played for 25 minutes, then decided I hated the graphic design. I might actually enjoy MMOing if not for all the tedium of running around hamstering things 90% of the time.

What do you Atheists of the forum believe in?
Well, time is ultimately an expression of the expansion of the universe since the big bang. If the story must have a beginning it's in whatever caused it.

But Dim Sum would be bad without a side of rice. Not so CRPGS

What do I believe in, nothing yet. Still waiting to be disproved. I really do hope I am.

The beginning of the end of specialist retailers?
Personally I think STEAM has an unrealistic idea of how prices are maintained. I'm not going to pay half the price of a new game for something that's 10 years old unless it's something I really want. I like their collection of older games, but I would rather go bargain bin hunting at those prices. I also dislike all the sales. Makes me think I'm getting shafted if I buy anything at full price. I'll be getting FO NV but other than that I'm falling out of love with STEAM. Also, who is ever going to pay 49.99 for Caine and Lynch 2.

Goodbye GOG.com
Well in order to get it to work you emulate a crappy old computer on a DOSbox, If there was no computer back then capable of attaining a decent frame rate (quite possible) then it's not going to make a difference.
